REQUESTED

Y/N's P.O.V.

"Please..." Corpses littered the room around us as I pulled myself up off the ground, my whole body trembling as I forced myself to stand.
"Please, don't do this, Hela. You're better than this."

"Please?" She questioned with a grin.
"Oh, I like it when you say that." She flicked her wrist out and a large black sword appeared in her hand. She pointed it towards me, using it to lift my chin up. I didn't flinch or run, although part of me wanted to.
"Say it again." She ordered and I hesitated.

"What happened to you, Hela?" She looked almost the same as she did the last time I saw her, older for sure, but the woman in front of me had changed dramatically. She may have been the Goddess of Death, but she was also my wife. She was kind and caring and, yeah, a little sadistic at times, but I loved her. The Hela I knew would never slaughter her own people.

"Odin locked me in Helheim for centuries. There was no escape, only constant torture and suffering." Vulnerability flashed in her eyes for a moment and my heart broke.
"I was powerless and weak. That is not going to happen again."

"So what? You're eliminating anyone who poses a threat to you?" I looked at her in disbelief.

"What's wrong, my love? Are you worried I consider you a threat?" She asked almost teasingly.
"I suppose I should, shouldn't I? You are the Goddess of Life, after all. You used to be such a fearsome warrior... now look at you." I looked at her with a sad expression and she scoffed.
"What? Aren't you going to beg for your life?"

"No." I shook my head, reaching up and moving the blade away from my chin.
"What Odin did was inexcusable, but he is dead. These people... they did not threaten you and yet, you killed them anyway." I stepped towards her.
"I'm sorry I couldn't bring you back sooner, my love. Believe me, I tried. I tried every day since you left, but you're back now. The throne is yours. You can be a better ruler than Odin ever was." I reached up and touched her cheek, causing her eyes to close.
"You can be a better person. Stop this madness, don't be the monster he made you out to be."

"You're right." She muttered, opening her eyes.
"The throne is mine. I'm the Queen of Asgard." I nodded my head, despite seeing the fire in her eyes.
"And I do believe I told you to beg. Are you going to disobey your queen?"

"Please, Hela..." I sighed, knowing I didn't have a choice.
"No one in Asgard is a threat to you, not anymore. Leave them be."

"Is that what you want, my love?" She asked, running her fingers over my jaw.
"You want me to leave the people alone?" I nodded my head and she sighed, giving me an expectant look.

"Please." I begged and her lips curled up into a smirk.
"My Queen, please leave them alone. You can have me, I will do anything you wish, but rule the people of Asgard fairly."

"Well, because you asked so nicely..." She grinned.
"I will do as you ask, my love."

"Y/N?" A familiar voice asked in shock and my eyes shot open as I looked at the two princes in disbelief. I was good friends with the Princes of Asgard, watching them grow up was interesting, to say the least. They both were so similar to the older sister they never knew they had.
"What... what has she done to you?" Thor whispered as he and his brother pulled me to my feet.

"Your neck..." Loki lightly touched the bruises, but I stepped back.

"You both have to leave, now!" I hissed, apparently shocking the pair.
"She will kill you. Hela kills anyone who is a threat to her and she will not hesitate to end you both."

"Come with us. We're taking the people away from here. We can save you." Thor looked at me and I looked at my hands.

"I can't."

"You're a powerful warrior and sorceress, why hasn't she killed you?" Loki asked suspiciously.
"Before we got here, you were a bigger threat than anyone."

"Why would I kill my wife?" The familiar voice asked and I closed my eyes, moments before I was pulled back against Hela.
"Hello again, sons of Odin."

"Wife?" Thor asked, whereas Loki just looked shocked. Hela hummed, before lightly kissing one of the hickeys on my neck.
"Y/N...."

"Hela and I married long before the two of you were even born. When Odin banished her he threatened me with death if I ever mentioned her name." I looked down.

"Tell me, my love. What should we do with them? The sons of Odin believe they have a claim to their throne." Hela asked calmly, but I could hear the smirk in her voice.

"You have to let them go, Hela." I muttered and she stepped away from me.

"And why would I do that?" She had a look of betrayal in her eyes.

"They're not threats. They're leaving and they're never going to return." I looked between the brothers and their sister.

"You care for them, don't you?" She asked and I nodded.
"Well then they must die."

"No, Hela." I looked at her.
"Don't let jealousy get the better of you. I care for them because they remind me of you. They are your brothers, but I love you. Not them." I looked at her pleadingly, stepping closer.
"Please."

"Fine." She glared at me.
"But they leave now and they never come back."

"Thank you." I whispered, giving her a small smile, before kissing her lightly. I turned to face the pair and nodded.

"You'll be okay?" Loki looked at me and Hela's arms wrapped around me once more.

"You doubt that I can care for my wife properly?" Hela asked lowly and Loki glared at her.

"I'll be fine." I reassured.
"I'm happy here, with Hela."

"Good." Thor nodded and they left. Loki sent me a confused, almost pleading look as Thor dragged him away.

"I should have them beheaded for even considering the idea that I'd ever hurt you." Hela grumbled and I laughed slightly.

"Thank you." I turned and hugged her, causing her to sigh.
"I love you."

"I love you too." She mumbled grumpily, before I kissed her cheek.

I live Hela with my heart and soul, but this chapter feels very... meh
