All of them turned their heads to the voice. Eunji stood up and was about to run to Minji but Jimin grabbed her hand. She looked at him but he shook his head. She turned to Minji but saw Yoongi standing in front of her with a straight face.
Their mom started to storm towards them with an angry face but stopped when Jin stood in front of her, towering over her short figure as compared to him. "Get away." She glared at him.
"No." He crossed his arms. Jimin pulled Eunji to sit beside him, still holding her hand.
"I'm your mom."
"And I'm her brother." Their mom bit the inside of her cheek at Jin's answer. "And you aren't gonna hit her. This is sibling fight."
"Oh, really? Then was it okay of her to hit Yoongi like this?" She also crossed her arms. Eunji bit her lower lip, nervously watching the small argument between the elders of the house. None of them dared to say anything, even their dad.
"No, it wasn't but this matter is in between siblings. You don't even know what happened." Jin poked inside his cheek.
"That doesn't mean she can hit him like this." Their mom took a deep breath.
"It's between siblings, stay away."
"Now, you are arguing with me?" Anger grew up inside her because of his repeating his words again and again and arguing up with her. She uncrossed her arms. Taehyung's eyes landed on her hands and he saw her fingers twitching. He stood up and ran to her. His instincts were right. She raised her hand to slap Jin but Taehyung grabbed her wrist.
"Don't hit him," Taehyung growled. "You don't have any right to hit him without any reason."
"And he shouldn't argue with an elder." She snatched her hand away from Taehyung's grip. "Repeating his words again and again."
"He was defending them, not arguing with you. You are the one who is converting this conversation into an argument. When he said it's sibling matter for the second time, then you should back away. I don't know why you all elders always thinks that we are arguing with you when we all do is defending ourselves or someone else. If it is an argument and we are winning, you always hit us and say, 'that's disrespect'. We can't even do anything after that and shut our mouths cause you are elder and we respect you." Taehyung spoke in one breath. He knew she was one of those people who does that to make the younger shut.
His words hit Eunji hard. That was the same thing she always thinks but never got the courage to speak to her mom. Their mom stared at Taehyung with a poker face before turning to Eunji, who flinched at the sudden eye contact. "Eunji, follow me." She said and walked to the stairs.
Concern filled over to Jimin cause he doesn't trust Eunji leaving with her mom alone after what he heard from her room and Minji. He tightened his grip on her hand, trying to stop her but she stood up, removing his grip from her hand and quickly went behind her mom.
