you started sweeping the floor and looked out at the window. watching cars pass by and the snows starting to melt, "asuka" you turned your head to see your brother sleep on the counter, his hand over his head. habit-

"oh god," you put his sweater over his back and picked up his ramen bowl, "now i have to clean more" you groaned

you went behind the counter and turned the knob for the sink, "where is the soap?" you hummed. you moved your hands over the sink and stopped at your phone, "any notifs?"

you weren't expecting anything but after what happened today at school with tsuki you couldn't get your mind off of it. "idiot" you shook your head, "stupid boy"

"mm" you heard a sound behind you. "sorry did i wake you up?" you watched your brother's head pick up. he waved his hand and went to the backroom, "shut up and clean better, last time the place was ugly"

"uh." you were left alone in the entrance, "i don't even have to do this but you're making me~"

"and if i suck-" you pointed at yourself with the sponge, "then why don't you do it!"

"...no" you typed. you looked at the pile of dishes in front of you and groaned, "shit-"

you placed your phone down beside you and started washing the plates. while your hand was moving in a circular motion you thought about tsukishima grabbing your hand against his chest. "AH" you threw your head back

your brother came out of the back room and placed his hand on his hip, "what the fuck?"

"sorry" you sighed, "can you help- i'm having a hard time"

"no" asuka went outside and you crouched down behind the sink, "ugh"

you grabbed your phone from above and sat down on the floor, looking at the most recent text tsuki sent you.
