Ch. 39 "Fear"

                                              Jayden POV 

Today is what Tony has described to me 'Off Day' 

Which means no super hero stuff, no press conferences, no meetings, no shield, nothing just relax and do as everyone wishes, 

Right now everyone was outside, Bucky and Sam were arguing as Bucky was grilling, some of them were swimming in the enormous in ground pool, others just lounging, 

Me however do not want to be anywhere near the pool, 

So to tell you the truth, I have this paralyzing fear of water, 

I can't swim, HYDRA used that to their advantage using water as punishment, 

I am so afraid of water I just freeze up, 

Right now I'm masking that fear, I am in the middle of Bucky and Sam, 

"Your flipping the burgers wrong your gonna burn them," Sam said worried, 

"Jesus Sam I know how to grill, I swear your worse than a woman," Bucky said 

"Oooh Burn," I said giggling, 

"Don't encourage him," Sam said pointing at me, 

"Hey don't point at her," Bucky said 

"Jayden," I hear I see Tony 

I walked towards him, with a big smile, 

"Why don't you go swimming with the others?" Tony asked, 

I see Thor and Loki horsing around, Clint and Pietro playing water ball, Steve was laying on a floaty with his hands linked behind his head, 

"No thanks," I said smiling at him,

He looked at me confused, 

"A kid that doesn't like swimming... That's the first," He said sounding suspicious he said 

"I just don't wanna get my outfit wet,' I said leaning back on my heels then flat on my feet, 

"Sweetheart I know better than that, that you don't give a damn about the outfit," He said 

Oh he's good, I thought 

Hurry think of something, 

"Oh is that Nat I see," I said using my hand as a visor and teleported to where she was laying on a lounge chair with a drink, 

"Hey there my little apple, what are you doing," She said sitting up since I was sitting on the edge of the lounge chair, 

I shrugged, 

Nat moved her sunglass down her nose looking over the glasses, 

"Something," She said 

I just shrugged laying next to her, 

Nat is like the badass, cool aunt I never had, 

It took me a while to warm up to her, but finally I did, and I always want her to teach me to be like her, 

And she says trust me my little apple you don't want to be like me, 

Suddenly a shadow was looming over me, 

I open my eyes and see Steve dripping wet from the water, 

Steve picked me up, 

"Steve," I said 

"Come on you need to come and swim with us," He said I couldn't see but I know he was smiling, 

"Wait, Steve, I don't want to," I said squirming, 

"Oh don't worry you'll dry eventually," He said 

"Were going to swim," He said 

"No!" I said as he got ready to put me in the water, 

I teleported, behind Bucky clutching his leg for dear life, everyone froze, it was silent, 

they all stared at me,
