Him- Chan (Kane)

The doors finally open and I jump from my seat. The doctors came out 1 by 1, and after 4 doctors exited, 2 more came out from behind them with Imani on the bed. She looked terrible but better than when we found her, the cuts on her head were perfectly stitched and taken care off. even though she looked terrible, she did look peaceful. They rolled Imani passed us and one of the doctors walked up to us.

"Imani Abbas". The doctor said.

"Yes, she's with us", Khalani responded.

"Imani is stable but she sustained very serious injuries, some of her internal organs were badly damage and will reflect on her  once she wakes up. The damage will also cause some problems for her in the near future. We will be taking her to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), if you want to see her please follow me". The doctor said and we followed her to where they were looking after Imani.

We got there and we couldn't get in her room, I had to watch her suffer alone through a glass window, it was torture. I am the one who was meant to be laying on that hospital bed not her. She did nothing wrong, but stand up for herself and fought for those she cared for. She is the strongest person I know, the bravest as well. Even though she knew exactly who I was and what I was capable of, she stood her ground and took me head on. She challenged and that's what attracted me to her, besides her beauty.

All I've ever done was cause her emotional and physical pain. Every time she is around me, she gets hurt, it makes me mad. I failed to protect her again. 'All you had to fucking do was take care of her Kane, but you keep hurting her'. I know I am bad company for her and she should stay away from me, but I just can't let her go, I've fallen to deep and I can't seem to get out, I don't want to either. Even though she gets hurt, I'm still going to fight to keep her by my side, no matter what life fucking throws at me. Maybe I've lost my sanity, but I'm willing to risk it all for her. My father was just one of the things and people I was willing to give up, just so I can be with her. 

I have so much on my mind right now, I put my businesses on hold for her. I sat there watching her for hours. Everyone else decided to go get some rest and they'll come back tomorrow, now that they know Imani will be fine. Jin tried to convince me to go home and get some rest, but its no use, I still wouldn't be able to sleep because I'll constantly be thinking of Imani. As I'm sitting here and watching her, I started thinking about how my life would be with Imani in the future.

I tried my best to think positively, but every time I do, the doctors words replay themselves in my head, " The damage will  also cause some problems for her in the near future". What did she mean by that?
