First Period

"Alright! Now that we have everyone here, I guess we can start!" Ningguang exclaimed. She was the Economics/Business teacher. Bennett sighed, in his chair.

"All that sprinting to be a few minutes late." He complained to himself.

"Alright, lesson one!" Ningguang began.

"Lesson one? Already?" A light blue haired guy asked. Ningguang sighed.

"Well, we might as well start now. We can get much more work done. Of course, it'll help us learn much more within the year." She explained. Everyone kinda sighed in disappointment, but Ningguang was happy that everyone came to an agreement. She began teaching the class when someone tapped Bennett's shoulder. It was a light blue haired guy.

"Hey!" He said. Bennett hesitated for a second.

"H-Hi!" He replied in a bit of a whisper.

"I don't remember you from last year, are you new here?" He asked. Bennett nodded. As he did, the other boy but his hand out for a bit of a handshake.

"My name is Chongyun! Nice to meet you!" He smiled. Bennett smiled and also shook his hand.

"I'm Bennett! Nice to meet you too!" He said. As the two had a handshake, Ningguang walked over and lightly smacked both of their hands with a ruler. They quickly pulled back.

"Ow!" They both complained. Ningguang pulled a sucker out of her mouth.

"Please pay attention." She said. As she walked away, Bennett thought to himself.

"Why does she have a sucker?" He thought. The reason? The expensive pipe she likes to carry around isn't allowed on school grounds. Meanwhile, in the corner of the class, Fischl was sitting and paying attention when the girl in front of her turned to her.

"Hiya!" A girl smiled with a small wave. She had her blond hair in a twin tail. Fischl turned a bit red, then shook it off.

"Calm down Fischl, you got this." She thought to herself.

"Greetings peer from this realm! How does thou accompany themselves with me?" She asked.

"Nailed it." She thought to herself. The girl looked at her a bit strangely.

"Uh... good... I guess?" She answered in a way where she asked. She was confused, but shook it off.

"Anyway! Did you do something to your eye?" The girl asked, wondering about her eyepatch with a little concern. Fischl smirked, placing one hand on her concealed eye.

"This? Well, it may be a secret, however, I shall reveal to you that it is my Auge der Verurteilung, a power too strong for this realm to hold if it were to be publicly exposed. So do not fear, my peer! I am in no injury!" She explained. The girl kinda just looked at her for a moment. She was a little confused, and just a bit weirded out. Suddenly, Fischl made a small gesture to her. Confused, the girl turned to see that Ninnguang was on her way over. She quickly turned back in her chair. Ninnguang walked by and didn't yell at them.

"Hmm..." The girl thought. She glanced back at Fischl, who was staring at her desk now. She had just saved them from a smack like the boys a few seats over had received. She giggled a little.

"Maybe she's not that weird." She smiled...

The bell rang. First period was finished, and people got out of their seats. The hallways were completely filled with students.

"So..." Chongyun began. Bennett glanced at him.

"Why are you following me?" He asked.

"Well I'm gonna have to help you get to class, won't I? It's your first time here, right?" He asked. Bennett sighed.
