These past days has been a hell for winter she felt angered, hatred...she felt suffocated...
But all of these were gone just by the mere presence of karina...sleeping next to her, winter feel nothing but feel secured and loved it almost make her want to cry again.
With a content sigh she played with her fingers that was placed securely on her waist as karina scoop her from behind.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Karina asked softly
Does she want to? Yes
Does she trust karina? Of course
"My...my sister is back" she said
"Umm" She hummed indicating that she want her to go on
"We were inseparable back then.. My parents were never home because of their work so it was just me and my sister... She was very fun...loving and would always cheer me up with snacks when I'm down she always used to give me piggyback and everytime I would fall asleep on her" She smiled at the memory
"she was very gentle and kind like a mother.. I wanted to grew up like her I would always look up to her...she was my role model and she promised she will always be my side supporting me until..." She said not unable to form next words.
Karina squeezed her hands encouraging her to go on
"Until... She.. She decided to leave to chase her dreams...My dad was not happy about it specially my dad he cut every ties with her after she left and every responsibilities were pass down to me..i was left alone hurt and confused...she never contact me i feel betrayed cause she promised she will never leave my side" Her voice crack at the end and she was crying yet again
Karina pulled her impossibly closer hugging her from behind and winter cried silently
"She's back now after all these years...I hate her so much"
"Shhh it's okay... It's okay...you'll be fine" Karina keep comforting her as she cried
"You don't want to see her again?" She asked
"No" She replied instantly after she stopped crying
"What if she's back for good? What if she's back to mend everything that's broken? You still wouldn't forgive her?" She asked carefully
And winter don't know what to say
"Win..don't hold into the past seek for happiness...dont get scared to take risk"
"Thank you for telling me...I don't know what is your decision but always remember that I am here for you" She said kissing the back of her head softly
Winter sighed contently at the warmth as she let her words sinked in. Karina has a way with words and action that make her feel secured.
She turned her body around, facing impossibly closer at her not breaking the distance between them.
"Thank you" She uttered looking in those beautiful eyes of her. She has always been so pretty in winter's eyes but tonight she look magical with that kind of smile that put the sun to shame.
"Don't thank me...i just want to see you happy minjeong-ah. I am happy when you are happy"
She don't know if it was the way Karina called her real name for the first time or it was copy paste cheesy line that made her say
"I like you...a lot"... It was kind of hard to admit her feelings because she was scared but when she let those words out she felt alive.
When she look up shyly at Karina she had her jaw drop open that made her chuckle
