Dawsey is the type of person who'll do his best to help the people he interacts with, and he'll do whatever he can for others regardless of who it is in need of aid; he wants to make other people's lives easier and as peaceful as possible while he can. He struggles to relate to the emotions of others, so while he can connect a wide variety of tones and behaviors to certain emotions he cannot connect to other people in that way; there are exceptions to this, but despite his wish to help others he doesn't feel much when others are in pain. He is a very detail focused person, if he can he will give all of his attention to perfecting the minor parts of something regardless of whether he believes anyone will notice or not; he views even the tiniest of details as monumentally important to the end goal. Dawsey cannot handle failure in a healthy way, and in an attempt to avoid that outcome at all cost he fuels his detail driven nature to an almost obsessive extent; he will make himself sick worrying about the small things that likely won't have any impact on his results. If anyone will stand by a person's side through thick and thin it's Dawsey; he will offer his unconditional support to the people he mamaged to bond with and will rarely rescind his willingness to stand by someone unless given some extreme reason to do so. His loyalty easily crosses a line into him supporting and encouraging people's negative behavior, and unless something has the inevitable outcome of causing severe harm to someone he cares about he'll turn away and ignore it instead of helping them adress the problem. He manages to maintain a relatively collected persona even when he finds himself in stressful and unknown situations; he's often the person with a level head when the world around him has fallen into chaos and others have begun to panic, so he seems consistently calm under pressure. While he can remain composed under a surprising amount of stress he has his breaking point like everyone else, and it's certainly not pretty; it changes, but once he reaches that point of no return he becomes prone to violent--sometimes homisical--episodes without restraint or the means to calm himself down.
