"So Dean and I are going out Friday night for our anniversary" Rory tells her sister as they study in Rory's room.

"What? But Fridays mine and Tristan's anniversary and we started dating before you and Dean" Victoria says. "Yeah I know, but Deans working in our actual anniversary so we have to do Friday instead" Rory tells her.

"But Tristan and I are going out Friday night, we can't make mom go to Friday night dinner alone. She won't survive" Victoria says. "She'll be fine" Rory replies. "Rory, it's mom and our grandparents come on" Victoria tells her.

"Okay so maybe it'll go bad but still it's one night, come on" Rory says getting up and going into the kitchen with Victoria following after her.

"No, put that away" Victoria says seeing a box of hamburger helper in her mother's hands. "I wanna cook" Lorelai says.

"You can make soup" Rory tells her. "No, I want to really cook like on the food channel. I want to sauté things and chop things and do the bam, and I wanna arrange thing on a plate so they look like a pretty little hat. I wanna be the iron chef" Lorelai responds. "Fine" Victoria sighs.

"Really?" Lorelai asks.

"Yeah, I'll help" Victoria answers. "Okay, I need a pan" Lorelai reads the box.

"And a fire extinguisher" Rory says. "Funny funny girl" Lorelai says as Victoria looks for a pan. "Now if I had only bought some hamburger" Lorelai says looking at the ingredients listed on the box.

"You didn't but hamburger?" Rory asks in disbelief.

"Yes I bought hamburger, I just like saying things like that so you look at me like I'm crazy" Lorelai tells her. "So tell me why the sudden need to be domestic?" Victoria asks.

"I don't know, I'm in like a funky mood" Lorelai replies. "Why?" Rory asks. "Too many stars, too much love. It makes me cranky" Lorelai explains.

"I take it you haven't heard from Mr Medina" Victoria says.

"No, I haven't" Lorelai admits. "Maybe that's why your cranky" Rory suggests.

"Okay, new subject please" Lorelai says. "You know you have a phone also" Victoria points out. "How's it coming with that pan?" Lorelai asks.

"Cleopatra, queen of denial" Victoria says.

"The pan, please" Lorelai responds. "Ok fine, new topic" Victoria give in.

"Thank you" Lorelai says. "We have this huge favor to ask you" Rory tells her. "Something I can hold over your head, let's hear it" Lorelai says intrigued.

"Friday night is Tristan and my and Dean and Rory's three month anniversary" Victoria tells her.

"Three months? Wow" Lorelai says happy for her daughters. "And I mean I don't know what Tristan and Victoria are doing I didn't really get the details on that but I'm sure they're doing something and Dean apparently had some big fancy evening planned for us" Rory says.

"Very classy" Lorelai comments. "Yes it is, but for Rory to actually partake of the fancy evening and for me to be able to go to my date we have to get out of Friday night dinner" Victoria tells her mother. "Ah, good luck with that" Lorelai replies.

"Mom" Rory says.

"Do you know how much Emily Gilmore will not care about your three month anniversaries?" Lorelai asks. "I was thinking you could talk to her" Victoria tells her.

"If there was a runoff between what Emily Gilmore would care about less a two for one toilet paper sale at Costco or your three month anniversaries, your anniversaries would win hands down" Lorelai adds. "So you're not even gonna try to help us?" Rory asks. "Oh no I'm gonna try to help you, because I care. Emily Gilmore however..." Lorelai responds.
