"Do you really have to?"
"Unfortunately...yes", Taehyung answered as he zipped up his suitcase, putting it down on the floor.
"I'm telling you beforehand, I'm not supporting this plan of yours"
Jieun turned around, hands crossed and she took a step forward but got held back instantly at the moment by Taehyung.
"Why do you always get mad at me?"
"I don't... it's...", at loss of words, she struggled to complete her sentence.
She groaned before meeting the iconic eye smile of Taehyung who stood there noticing how frustrated she was.
"You are going to be sad that I'm going away for a week right?", his hands slowly reached up to her cheek, caressing it gently with affection.
Jieun nodded head hesitantly, she couldn't just pretend to be fine anymore. Even though she was always the one motivating and encouraging him, giving hopes. But this time, it was totally the other way around.
The way Taehyung had to execute his plan the risky way, it worried her a lot.
Taehyung himself being away from her only brought badluck to her over the past months and she was immensly scared of what awaited her this time.
It was almost as if the wicked 'time' was playing games with her.
"You're making it harder for me to leave", the look on her face, the face which will be full of nothing but longing later on, it only made him want to stay.
According to their plan, Taehyung was supposed to be in Japan at the moment, for which he was already late and couldn't risk it even more.
But the fear of leaving his loved one haunted him as he became hesitant to even leave her alone for a second.
He experienced it well how it would turn out if he leaves her alone yet again and the least he wanted was the past to repeat itself.
"As much as I wanted to stay, it'll only risk it all. Don't worry, we'll get reunited again", Taehyung smile but the one on the other side only rolled her eyes with arms folded.
"This stupid plan of yours... I get it now why Jisoo didn't accepted it in the first place"
Jieun never got to know the full plan they all made against Taehyung's father. From the little mere part she knew, she already concluded that it was the worst plan ever.
But being the only choice, it had to be done.
As much as she hated watching Taehyung leave, away from her, totally unaware of the future that awaits them.
