Josie's pov
Today we were having our six weeks ultrasound. Seb and I hid this from everyone. Thanksgiving I had to say I was on my period and didn't feel like drinking wine. I even used a fricking heating pad to help with my cramps act.
"You ready babe" seb said coming into our room. "Just putting my boots on" I said as I put my fuzzy socks and doc martens on. I was wearing a sweater with black leggings. We got in the car and drove to the doctors office.
We waited for a little bit before being called back. "How are the parents doing" our doctor asked us. "Good" we both said smiling. "Now of momma can roll up her sweater" she said as she grabbed the gel. "Now I'm gonna go through the ultrasound procedure" she said.
"It's okay I've done it before" I said rolling my shirt up. "When?" Seb said looking confused. "I had appendicitis as I kid" I said smiling. "I knew that" he said. "Sure you did baby" I said smiling.
She spread the gel all over my belly. Then she grabbed the stick and moved it around. "And there's your baby" she said outings at the monitor. Seb and I looked at the monitor then at each other smiling.
She printed us some ultrasounds then gave us information and we were on our way home. "So we tell them Christmas?" Seb asked and I nodded. "Can we stop by the store" I asked and he nodded his head.
I got some stuff to wrap the ultrasounds in and then went back home. I ended up adding some tissue paper on the bottom of the box. And then laid the ultrasound photo ontop. On the back we wrote, baby stan can't wait to meet you, uncle/aunt blank their name.
We also added some candy for them. "So we are hosting t Christmas at our place" I said. "Yes do you want it eve or actual Christmas Day" he asked. "Both" I said. "Sleepover?" His eyes lit up. "Yes" I said kissing his lips.
My family always spent Christmas Eve together played games then spent it together Christmas morning too. After wrapping gifts, I set them under the tree. Seb and I watch a nightmare before christmas for the night.
"hey kid, just so you know, i call dibs on your mom" seb said as he whispered to my belly. I smacked his head playfully. "Seriously?" I said as he looked up at me. "The child needs to know their place" he said being serious.
"Good night stan" I said smiling and covering myself "Night JO" he said back kissing the top of my forehead good night.
