Crystal flew faster then she had ever dared before, her face a mixed concoction of worry and fear. She was terrified of the Unique she was trying to rescue, but she still pressed on.
Once she reached the Fey Town Hall, she gazed with wide eyes at the fiery ashes left of it. There were nearly no Fey around, but those who were there were knocked out cold.
Crystal heard coughing emit from the ashes, and ran to it. A head of jet-black hair stood out from the gray ashes.
"Who's there?" Alex called out unsurely, as if she were a deer in the headlights.
"Crystal. Listen we need to talk."
"Okay." Alex let down her guard and wheezily managed a cough. "Somewhere else, though."
Crystal helped her out of the Ashes Patch and led her to a willow tree by a small pond.
"I heard rumors that are most likely true, about you."
"Oh, them? How I'm a freak of nature and all that garbage? You're probably just another one of them."
"Actually, no." Alex's eyebrows raised in curiosity. "They're about the Legend."
Alex let out a small gasp. She hadn't been expecting this.
"I-I'm a Seer?!" She exclaimed. Crystal nodded, sympathy melting onto her face and seeping into her heart.
"I guess we better start going, then."
Alex grinned. "Always wanted to have an adventure."🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹
