When Cassie woke up next, she felt Natasha nudge her awake, and almost bit her hand off, making Natasha laugh, unaffected, "Stark wants me to show you your room."

That got Cassie's attention. She lifted her head to look at Natasha, who gestured for her to follow her to the elevator, which Cassie got up to follow her. She noticed that Natasha pressed the 5th floor, storing that in the back of her mind.

The elevator opened and Natasha led Cassie down the hallway a few steps, and opened the door to an apartment section, "Later Stark can activate the eye scan that will unlock the door for only you."

Cassie followed Natasha into the apartment and was shocked by what she saw. She entered in and Natasha stood by the door, letting her wonder and explore.

There was a kitchen space with a counter, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer in the same area as a small living space which had a comfy couch and TV. Cassie wondered into the next room which was the bedroom. It had a queen sized bed with a walk-in-closet on the other side of the room. She assumed she could decorate it later if she wanted to. She probably wouldn't be there long enough for that though. Connected to the bedroom was the bathroom with a huge shower and sink and toilet of course, with some shampoo and other soaps in the shower. Cassie went into the last room after coming back into the bedroom, and was a little confused at what she saw. She didn't realize Natasha followed her until she said, "This is your extra room. It can be turned into whatever you want. We all have one."

Cassie knew exactly what she would want it to be, but knew she wouldn't be here long and it didn't help imagining. She turned to Natasha and gave her a curt nod, not letting in any of the excitement she was feeling, and the thankfulness of them giving her her own space.

"By the way, I called Fury. Said he didn't know what I was talking about, so whatever you had, they don't have."

Cassie's tail drooped, she didn't know why she even bothered to hope. She nodded at Natasha who then said, "Anyway it's lunch time if you want to come."

She couldn't say she would come later, so Cassie just followed her out, down the elevator, into the kitchen, where she saw Clint cooking.

"Hey Cass, your bowl is over there," Clint pointed to a bowl on the floor. She nodded to him and walked over to her bowl, sitting down and eating it while she listened to their conversations.

"So Thor is coming back today?" Wanda asked.

"That's what the raven said," Tony responded, "It was kind of creepy hearing his voice out of a raven."

"Why is my oaf of a brother coming?" Loki asked from his spot on the couch in the living room.

"I don't know. We'll fine out when he comes," Tony said. "Probably checking up on Earth about his duties or whatever."

"When should we expect him?" The red and green man—who Natasha had told her was named Vision—asked.

Before Tony could answer, there was a blinding light outside and a boom. Cassie lifted her head from her eating position, wondering what it was. When all the Avengers including Loki, left to go outside, Cassie sighed and got up and followed them out.

In the field where the light came from, there was a mark of what looked like squiggles to her. She noticed there were other faded ones all over the area too. On the mark was a tall blond-haired main, wearing silver armor and a red cape, holding a hammer.

"Point Break!" Tony exclaimed. "Welcome back bud."

"It is pleasant to see you as well man of iron," Thor smiled and gave him a pat on the back that almost knocked poor Tony over.

Thor then focused on Loki and said, "Brother!" And came over, giving him a huge hug, "Put me down you oaf."

Thor put him down and Cassie turned her head in confusion, brother? They were brothers? They looked absolutely nothing alike.

Thor greeted every other Avenger with an equally bone-crushing hug, then he came to Cassie, and asked, "And who is this?"

"That's Cassie," Tony explained, "She was brought here by Fury in hopes of helping her."

"Helping her how?"

"She has refused to change back for years, and Fury hopes we can thaw her heart, give her energy again I guess."

"Ah. Well it's nice to meet you Lady Cassie," Thor gave Cassie a small bow and she nodded her head at him in return, smiling just a bit.

"Now, shall we go inside?" Thor asked.

"Alright big guy let's go," Tony walked inside and everyone followed him, Cassie trailing behind Thor.

"Mm what is that deliciousness I smell?" Thor asked in his booming voice as he walked into the kitchen.

"Clint cooked. Take some if you want," Tony replied.

"I will indeed," Thor said, and took a plate before sitting down. After a moment of hesitation Cassie sat down next to Thor's chair. He had this aura of happiness that radiated off him, drawing her to him.

Thor looked down at Cassie by his feet and gave her a questioning look, "May I?" She looked up to Thor and nodded, getting a huge kiddy-looking smile out of him as he started petting her fur.

The Avengers looked surprised that she let him pet her, but wisely didn't comment. Thor asked, "So what have I missed?"

"You were only gone for a couple of months Thor, besides Cassie moving in with us nothing happened," Tony replied. Cassie stood up and raised her head over the table to look at Tony, Moved in? Does he not understand that I'm only here until I change back, or Fury decides I'm hopeless and does who knows what with me.

"Why are you staring at me? It's creepy." Tony muttered. Cassie tried to not take it personally that his comment was also about her red eyes, she knew that's not what he meant. Didn't mean it didn't hurt when she was so insecure about them though. Cassie growled at him, and curled back on the floor, Thor petting her again.

"Leave the poor wolf alone Stark," Loki interrupted.

"Hey she's the one that growled at me, not the other way around!"

"Shut up Tony," Natasha and Wanda both said.

Tony grumbled something even Cassie's wolf ears didn't catch. Tony's phone rang and he answered it, putting it to his ear.

"Hey Fury."

Stark. I have a mission for you and the Avengers.

"What's it about?"

I'll have an agent bring it to you. Keep the god out of it.

"Which one?"

What do you mean "which one?"

"Thor just came."

Fine. You can take him, leave Loki.

"Why? He's been surprisingly not horrible."

Just follow my orders Stark.

Cassie heard a click and Tony put the phone down, "We have a new mission, everyone suit up. Mischief stays here."

"I'm not complaining," Loki smirked.

"Brother play nice," Thor glared.

Loki rolled his eyes, "I'll stay inside the Compound."

"You and I both know that's not what I meant."

"You can't order me around." Loki grumbled.

Thor nodded, giving Loki once last look, before the Avengers all left, leaving Loki and Cassie alone.

Cassie got up, and jumped over the back of the couch onto it, curling up. Loki joined her moments later, sitting down next to her on the couch. He started brushing his fingers through her fur, causing her to growl that he didn't ask, but she didn't move away.
