Alrighty this chapter will contain some t w i s t s

Izuku continued to run down the dimly lit metal hallway followed by Ochaco. Monoma was openly targeting him. Shinsou was in the jail. He hadn't improved much other than his punch power. If he was added to the hero program, they would have to kick someone out.

          The hallway of course came to a halt, revealing open sky. There was still damage from the last match.

"Deku, where do we go?" Ochaco peeked out the side only to have to dodge another piece of airborne equipment, most likely an effect of the Poltergeist quirk.

"Well we have approximately 10 minutes left. Fight." Izuku powered up his quirk and rode up the sides of a spike, carrying Ochaco with him.

"Oi Prison kid! Stop running around and fight me!"

Monoma had his fingertips touching eachother as he floated up into the air with his rather evil smirk.

"He must have touched me!" Ochaco jumped off the spike which was about 20 feet off the ground and jumped down onto Monoma using her own quirk and abruptly punched him across the face.

"Deku! There's an opening!" called Ochaco, one eye closed, as she continued to fight with the blonde psychopath in midair. Monoma most likely didn't even know the side effects of Zero-Gravity.

Izuku left forward and grabbed Ochaco's hand, using it to swing himself right past Monoma. He landed on his feet in between both remaining contestants.

He hadn't realized that Ochaco had lost focus.

"D-Deku, your eyes...are red! Is that normal?"

Izuku harshly blinked. "It's a side effect of my quirk! Stay focused on him! I'll take on the other two with Ashido and Mineta!"

A shower of purple orbs and the familiar acid he had scars from fell from the sky. An unblockable attack.

Izuku kept his distance from Yui to avoid her manipulative quirk and instead went for Shoda Nirengeki who had the quirk Twin Impact. The orbs sprinkled them with inconvenience as they got stuck together to their support gear and eachother.

"What the!" murmured Shoda as Izuku charged up a basic strength enhancer. Or at least that was his impression of it. Izuku didn't exactly know what the majority of his abilities were.

However something felt off.

Izuku stuck his hand out as a cold and somewhat hot feeling overcame his whole arm.

That's not normal

There was a crackling noise as sparks emitted until a large full blown explosion burst out of his palms reaching about 50 feet, blasting down a large chunk of an industrial pipe system.

Izuku let out a genuine cry of pain as he himself was flung into the wall from the intensity of the attack.

His own teammates had miraculously dodged the attack by hiding behind debris.

A hand reached out to him as more energy emitted from his palms against his will.

"Deku!"

What the hell is happening? I didn't need to use an explosion quirk! I didn't even try to manifest it either! It's just like Katsuki's!
