She greeted him, somewhat shy, making him grin under the mask.

He set her on the ground.

"Thanks."

"You have to be more careful, darling. But don't you worry, I'll be there to protect you."

She flushed at the name, looking away from him and nodding.

He hummed, gaining a confused stare from Phil.

Did he just call her 'darling' and she didn't protest against the name?

"Hello Philza."

"H-hi mate."

Phil tugged Y/n closer to himself.

"Oh, right! And XD, thank you for the sword and gapples back then! You really didn't have to."

"You don't have to thank me, Y/n."

XD laughed lightly, shaking his head.

Phil just stared at her, disbelief clear in his eyes.

"Uh, Y/n, can we talk?"

Y/n nodded, walking after Phil, away from XD after offering him a small wave which he returned before teleporting away.

"Y/n, what the fuck? Didn't you say that you hated him?"

"What? No, I don't remember saying that."

"What do you mean you don't remember?"

"I don't know, he's nice to me though. So I guess we're fine?"

How is that possible? Is this some kind of joke? She was telling him that she hated XD yesterday, so what happened?

"Are you okay? Do you by any chance have a fever?"

She blinked, as his head landed on her forehead to feel the temperature of her body.

"No?"

She didn't have a fever.

Huh, that's odd.

"Phil, are you okay?"

He blinked, surprised by her question and concerned stare.

"I'm fine."

He decided to brush it off with a deep sigh, turning away from her.
