CHAPTER 24; INSIDE THE ROOM

Jennie was walking with her friends to the parking lot ready to leave the university but her phone suddenly rang, she pick it up and she saw lisa's name, without thinking twice she instantly answered the call

"hel-.."

she didn't get to finish her word when lisa spoke with her usual cold voice "Jennie, get inside your room now and wait for me" , she's about to reply but Lisa already ended the call

'what's wrong with her' she thought

"who's that?" irene ask.  jennie showed her phone that still has lisa's name, "it's lisa. you can go first girls, i need to head back" she run inside the university leaving her friends dumbfounded

the group of girls look at each other and shrug their shoulders then continue walking.

jennie was running slowly still looking at her phone checking if lisa leave a message, but to her dismay, she receive none

she's about to reach her room but she suddenly bump into someone, she look up ready to curse the person but she was shock to see seulgi standing infront of her with her friends behind

"oh Jennie, i'm so sorry, I didn't look at my way" seulgi's about to bow her head but jennie stop her "no no it's okay, it's also my fault" jennie said then bow instead

"you seem in a rush what's the matter?" jisoo ask with a smirk plastered in her beautiful heart-shaped lips

"lisa called a minute ago, she told me to wait for her inside our room" jennie answer and offer a small smile, "but what are guys doing here? it's my first time to saw you here in the university" jennie said trying to stay up for a conversation

jeongyeon step infront and laugh enthusiastically, "let's just say, we just want to WITNESS everything in this prestigious university of lisa, hihe" she said emphasizing the word 'witness' on her statement

jennie look at her confused but still nod her head, "we will go now jennie, it's nice seeing you again" seulgi hug jennie and the others did as well, "it's nice to see you guys too, sorry again seulgi" jennie is about to bow again but this time seulgi hold her shoulders, "no need"

"bye" jennie walk past them but cubby suddenly call her name, she look back and ask why, "by the way jennie, lisa is already waiting for you" cubby inform her and jennie look at her disbelievingly, "how did that happen?" she mumble then run towards her room that's almost 10 feets away only.

she slide the door open and flinch when she heard lisa's cold voice, "i told you to wait for me here, but look, I'm the one who waited" she look at her and she saw lisa sitting at the back with crossed legs and serious face

jennie walk hesitantly towards lisa, she's contemplating to get close because she can sense that the latter is not in her usual self.

But regardless, she still manage to sit next to lisa after giving her a brief kiss on the cheek, "are you here at the university all along?" jennie ask and look at lisa's side profile

'still attractive' she thought

"no, i just arrived.." lisa fix her sit and look at jennie, "how's your day? tell me what happened all day." she demandingly ask while squeezing jennie's right hand

"Nothing much, i was sleepy all the time. class ends at 2, and we decided to stay at the field for the remaining hours" jennie said and lisa tilt her head not satisfied about the information she's getting, "anything else?" she questioned

Jennie don't want to tell her about hoyeon because for sure it will cause fight between the two and she still don't want hoyeon to be in danger or be dead, lol. "that's all baby, and then you called when we're about to leave" she lied and peck on lisa's lips that cause her mood to soften
