Unknown POV

The flight was over, and I called yet another cab to get myself to my apartment that I had been renting out to make extra cash.

I had told the person living there that I was coming back and they answered saying that they were about to tell me that they didn't need it anymore.

They thanked me for it and told me where they kept their key so that I could enter the house.

I walked up the stairs, heaving my bags up with me as I went. I lifted the mat and skilfully took the key from underneath it, spinning it and flipping it in my hand before putting it into the lock and opening the door.

I placed my bags down and went and crashed on the sofa, the Italian morning slowly creeping through my half open blinds.

The sun was rising and dusk was slowly fading away as the clouds and blue shades decorated the sky to signal the morning.

My eyelids were heavy and my limbs ached as I lay on the sofa, my body too tired to move.

Soon enough, my eyes closed completely and I fell into a deep slumber, not knowing when I would wake up.

I woke up, looking straight for the clock to see that it was 2PM already.

Jeez.

I need to go shopping to get some groceries and other necessities, so I took a long shower and changed into some comfortable/weather appropriate clothing.

Looking in the mirror by the door, I put on my black curved cap and my shoes before walking out the door, keys and some plastic bags in hand.

I walked down the stairs and out of the lobby to greet the moderately busy streets of Rome.

By memory, I went through the roads and alleyways to get to the shop. When I got there, I went straight for the things I had on my list and piled them into my bag until it was filled.

Cereal, milk, spices, two bottles of Tajín (which i didn't think i'd be able to find),  lasagna sheets, mince beef and many, many more.

I queued up at checkouts and smiled kindly at the lady who began scanning my items quickly.

I paid for my items after stuffing them into the bags I had,  hauling them out of the shop and heading back.

As I headed back home, I accidentally bumped into someone who was walking by me which made me drop a bag and in result, many of my items falling to the ground.

"Cazzo mi dispiace, lascia che ti aiuti."
[translation:Fuck I'm sorry, let me help you]

They began picking up things with me, placing them in the bag and then holding it open so I could put the rest inside.

"Grazie." I said hurriedly, before taking the bags from him and walking away.

Cant risk being recognised here. It's dangerous.

Lorenzo POV

I apologised once more as the person rushed off, clutching their bags of groceries as they went.

Hmm, strange. Wonder why they're in such a rush?

I brushed it off and walked back to the mansion, ready to start working with the Don again.

A guard at the door nodded at me before opening the door for me, letting me in and shutting it behind me.

"Lorenzo, the Don wants you in his office." A man said to me as he walked passed me.
