"I need a new watch."

I said as I looked down at my old watch.

"Yeah that looks pretty old."

Said Mia while checking out my wrist watch.

"I have been using it since 10 years."

"Thats so old. Don't tell me your ex gifted it to you."

She giggled.

"I don't have any ex."

"What?!"

Exclaimed Liam behind me. This guy loves giving me mini heart attacks.

"Have you never dated anyone?"

"No."

I wanted to laugh at his reaction. Like- Is it really a big deal?

"Thats sad."

Mia said agreeing with Liam.

"Not really... I don't think I could love someone."

"You're wrong about that Elle."

Liam argued. Oh please, the person I who I loved never noticed me. Well these days he is actually starting to notice me but ugh! He will never feel the same way for me.

"True love exists only between a dog and a human."

I said and pressed my lips tightly against each other. I mean, I didn't lie.

I frowned at Liam.

Mia laughed softly.

"Where's Tristan?"

I looked around but I couldn't see him.

I looked at the entrance of the cafeteria to see Tristan walking slowly towards our table.
