Project TWP (Twice X Pokémon X M. Reader)

Chapter 1

"Finally!" You said as you entered your room.

It was the last day of school in your local college, and you've already finished all your requirements. Tomorrow will be the start of summer vacation.

No assignments and no late nights cramming for quizzes.

You can now play Pokémon all day long.

Pokémon is your favorite game of all time. Seeing all different creatures for the first time was quite enticing for the younger you. You were so addicted to the game that your parents had to confiscate your gaming console during school days, and you're only allowed to play the game during the weekends or during summer vacation.

You were now 18 years old but your love for Pokémon was the same since the first day you started playing.

It is currently nighttime and you've just finished dinner with your family. You were about to close the lights in your room and start your console when suddenly, you heard your mother call your name.

"Y/N!!"

You went outside your room to see your mom in the living room holding her phone.

"I know you're gonna play until the morning with Pokémon again!"

"Of course mom! It's summer vacation!"

"I know. But I just got off the phone with my childhood friend and tomorrow they're going to visit us. I need your help to clean the place and prepare the food."

"What time are they arriving?"

"Around noon. So we need to prepare everything in the morning."

"Alright."

"Sleep early tonight. We'll go to the market early in the morning."

"Okayyy."

You went to your room and prepared for sleep. You closed the lights and lay on your bed.

It started raining hard and thunder can be heard every now and then.

*KRAKOOOOOOM

"That is one strong Thunder."

You closed your eyes but you know that sleep won't come unless you've started playing Pokémon. So with that, you grabbed your old Gameboy Advance SP and booted up Pokémon Emerald.

Yes you have all the consoles to play every Pokémon Game from Generation I to Generation VIII, but one of your favorite versions was Emerald. Despite the lower graphics compared to the newer generations, you still enjoy playing the game on the small screen.

Few minutes starting into the game, your character is now at the back of the moving van. You entered the new house of your character and went to the second floor to set the clock in-game. You checked the digital clock beside you.

"21:29"

After setting the clock, you pressed A to confirm it, when suddenly the game froze.

"You have got to be kidding me." You groaned.

Knowing that your device and game were both old, you were not new to experiencing this. That's why you developed the habit to save the game as much as possible, almost every minute.

"I still haven't saved this new game though. Ughh. Guess I just have to start the game again."

You again rebooted the game and you were now again in the second floor to set the clock in-game. You again checked the digital clock beside you.

"21:29"

You again set the clock in-game, but the game froze again.

"Again? C'mon! That's TWICE in a row!" You complained.
