[part 6] honey on your face

Yb's POV:
I'm so stupid. Why did I just say all of that? I should've just made something up. Y/n is starting to look uncomfortable. Maybe I should just leave..

y/n finally broke the silence

y/n: "Well, since that's out of the way, are you still free to hang out today?"

Yb: "uh, yeah, i don't have much to do."

y/n: " Well then, what do you wanna do? I'm not really great at planning things out."

I think it'd be good to have people around, in case things get awkward again.

Yb: " what if we go out with your friends? Tk and Lucy right?"

y/n: " yeah, they're both free today, but what would we do?"

Yb: " umm.. Maybe we could go to Dave & busters? It would be a fun way to get to know you and your friends better."

y/n: "that actually sounds fun, I'll message tk and wake up Lucy. You should go home and change, me and Lucy are probably gonna take a while."

Yb: "alright, i'll be back in about an hour to pick you guys up"

I go home, change into my baggy jeans and half black, half white hearted shirt

~about an hour later~

Yb messages y/n:

Yb: hey y/n, im downstairs, so whenever your ready :]

y/n: we're going down now :]

Yb watches y/n open the door and stares in amusement

y/n is wearing the cutest outfit i've ever seen on them. They look absolutely stunning.

y/n & lucy walk towards yb's car

Lucy: "Hey stranger! Thanks for taking us out"

y/n: " oh yeah, I didn't really introduce you guys correctly. Lucy, this is yb, the guy who helped me yesterday. Yb, this is lucy, my roommate"

Yb: "since i'm not a stranger to you anymore, just call me yb."

Lucy: " Of course, sorry about that. Anyways thanks for helping us yesterd-"

Tk: "hey guys! I'm so sorry. Am I late?"

Tk was sweating from running and carrying bags on both hands.

y/n: " no, you're on time. we just got here ourselves"

Tk sighed in relief, and gave y/n a smile.

Yb: "alright, since everyone is here, get in so we don't have to stay in much traffic."

everyone gets in. y/n sits in the front, and tk sits in the back with lucy.

Tk: "by the way, i brought pancakes for everyone"

y/n: "aww that's really sweet tk. Thanks"

Yb: "alright then, i'll drive us to central park first."

Once they get to the park, they all sit on a big rock with a flat top. They have a comfortable place to eat and view the park from.

Lucy: " you know what? This feels nice. I haven't felt this relaxed in a while"

y/n: "yeah, i'm glad we're all out together. I needed this."

Everyone starts eating, talking, laughing and enjoying eachothers company. Then yb turns to y/n and notices the syrup on their face.

Yb: "y/n, you have some syrup on the side of your mouth"

y/n: "oh, thanks"

y/n gets a napkin and wipes their face, then looks up at yb to see if it's gone. He shakes his head, and y/n tries again and again, wiping everywhere but the syrup.

Yb: " your getting everything but the syrup " he giggles

Tk & Lucy start giggling as well, causing y/n to get embarrassed. Yb then grabs the napkin from y/n's hands and leans into them. He gently cleans y/n and then smiles at them. y/n looks up at yb and blushes uncontrollably.

Yb: "there you go."

y/n: "umm thanks yb"

Lucy: " That was so cute! Do it again, you can hear my giggling in this one"

y/n: "what? Where are you recording us?"

Lucy: " yeah, i wanted to catch a funny moment, but instead i caught a cute one. If you guys wanna watch the video, just check my instagram~"

y/n checks their phone and receives a notification. Lucy had tagged them in her recent story. Everyone, including y/n started to laugh, but tk stopped and looked both upset and annoyed.

Tk: "since everyone is done eating, should we start heading to Dave & busters?"

y/n: "yeah lets go."

As they walk towards the car, they all talk and laugh with each other, but tk's laugh is visibly forced. Y/n notices and decides to sit next to tk on the way to dave & busters.

Y/n: "tk, are you okay? You're acting weird."

Tk: "it's nothing."

Y/n: "don't lie to me. I know something is wrong. You looked so happy a few minutes ago, and now you look sad. Did any of us say something to make you upset?"

Tk leans towards y/n and whispers as soft as he can to keep yb and lucy from listening

Tk: " you've barely known this guy for a full day, and you trust him? Isn't it weird that you just met him and now he's offering to take us out? By what you've told me, you guys met in your building. What was that creep even doing there!?"

y/n: "tk, you need to calm down. You sound paranoid. Peter is the nicest guy I've met. When I asked him what he was doing there, he said he went inside the wrong building trying to look for his friend."

Tk: " that story sounds made up, but I know you're smart. If you really want to trust him it's on you. Just be careful, something about him doesn't sit right with me."

Tk smiles at y/n and hugs them. Lucy notices and glances at yb, noticing he's trying not to look mad.

Lucy tries to shift everyones focus on something else.

Lucy: "guys look, we're finally here!"

Everyone got out and waited for yb by the entrance. When he finished parking his car, everyone walked in happy and excited. yb and tk payed for everyones tickets, and walked towards y/n smiling.

Yb: "So, what do you guys wanna do first?"
