Somewhere In the middle of no whereStefan and Klaus were driving while trying to track wolves
Klaus was driving and it was silent but he kept trying to bug Stefan by asking repetitive intruding questions
"So mate, now that Elena is dead are you gonna look for anyone else" Klaus said smirking
He didn't know why Stefan went with him because he did let him go, but he knew Elena was a touchy subject since he killed her
Stefan really didn't want to make small talk but figured why not push his buttons while he's at it
"No, I don't really have feelings for anyone" His face was blank but inside he was smirking about his plan
Stefan then looked at Klaus "Are you gonna look for anyone"
Klaus gave a smug look and shook his head. The Salvatore vampire knew that his next words would definitely bug him
"Well in that case I might go for Zeara. She my best friend but maybe I want to be more than friends."
Hearing this Klaus almost literally ripped the steering wheel off the car. But instead he gripped the wheel tightly and put on a blank face
"No"
No. That was all he said. Not really the reaction Stefan was expecting
"Huh. No, but why not. You don't have feelings or like her do you? Stefan raised his eyebrows at the end of his question
Stefan really didn't know what his answer would be, but he knew that Klaus definitely had a soft spot for Zeara. And he needed to know why
The hybrid chuckled "Of course not, liking her would be a charity case. She was nelegected by her parents and had a kid at 17, she would come with a lot of issues. Plus the poor girl just got broken up with, and she doesn't even know that her best friend and baby daddy are sneaking about behind her knowing."
When Stefan heard this his eyes almost popped out of his head. He was insanely mad that he called his best friend a charity case, but even more mad that Caroline and Tyler were messing around behind Zeara's back
The fact that no one had told her made him infuriated. But wait....how did Klaus figure that out?
Stefan turned his head to look at Klaus with a shocked look on his face "How do you know that Caroline and Tyler are going behind Zeara's back?"
