Enemies to Lovers

Part 6

Later that day in the late afternoon you finally go to the kitchen to eat something.
"Y/n. Tony and the others won't be back for a couple days. They said the mission is taking longer then expected." FRIDAY says over the intercom.
"He couldn't tell me himself?" You ask.
"He tried to call you but you weren't answering your phone." FRIDAY says and you realize that since you were training all morning you left your phone in the room.
"Where are they anyway?" You ask taking a sip of your water.
"Eastern Europe. There was a shipment of weapons that were stolen."
"Friday, what is the earliest flight to San Francisco?" You ask curiously as you are missing you old life.
"The next flight leaves in 79 minutes."
"You know, I would never hear the end of it if you ran off on my first day of babysitting." Bucky says as he waking into the kitchen.
"Eavesdropping much." You say annoyed and finish eating.
"I didn't volunteer to babysit you." He says opening the fridge.
"Clearly." You say placing your plate in the dishwasher. "There's a plate of food in the microwave for you."
"You made supper?" Bucky asks closing the fridge and gives you a weird look.
"Yea. There was extra." You say and walk out of the kitchen. "Don't worry, I didn't poison it!" You yell from the living room.
Bucky opens the microwave to see a plate with a medium rare steak, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. With the food still warm Bucky sits at the dining table and is hesitant to take a bite. Surprised, Bucky finds it delicious and eats every bite. He puts the plate away and walks into the living room to see you flipping through channels on the TV.
"Thanks. It was as actually decent." Bucky says and sits on the other side watching the TV.
"Please, I can hear you inhaling it." You say with a laugh and stop flipping the channels at a news station based in Eastern Europe.
You both sit there in silence until you look over at a picture frame that is sitting on a small table and grab it. You haven't noticed it there before but you can't help but smile. It's a picture of you, Tony and your parents.
Bucky takes notice and clearly remembers that the Winter Soldier was ordered to kill their parents. No matter how hard he tried, Bucky could never forgive himself for what he did all those years ago. Even Tony had already forgiven him for what happened as he finally came to terms that Hydra was controlling him. Y/n doesn't know what really happened that day, she still believes that it was a normal car accident. Tony probably didn't tell her yet keep her from feeling more pain. Guilty, Bucky is about to say something but decides it's better not to tell her at this moment since there is no witnesses to the murder that she will commit.
Instead, he gets up and walks upstairs without saying a word.
