"I have to go after her." I nearly pleaded as soin as the girls left.

"You can't." Michael told him.

"I have to, please just this last time." I urgently spoke.

"We're on in five minutes Luke." Ashton sighed, we all seemed completely down. Of course we were. We were basically forced to go back to where we started. Back to square one..

"I'll be quick." I nodded, before running the other way where Cara had gone.

CARA'S POV

.

I was walking down the corridors humming to some random Green Day song in my head as I sighed.

I was sure as hell confused why they were acting so cold. And Luke. I actually thought he'd break through and actually try and talk it out with me. But nope.

I felt a slight bit of relief when I heard him call my name, I somehow thought I was hallucinating. Thank God I wasn't though.

I stopped walking in a halt, pursing my lips in nervousness.

"Cara, hey." Luke repeated himself in a more softer tone as I turned around.

"I'm so happy you came after me." I mumbled, my voice shaky. I was going to cry, and I hated that feeling..

"That, out there.." His voice trailed, his eyes softening.

I nodded, walking over to him. He slightly leans down and kisses me gently. I freeze under his touch, not really knowing what to do with my hands until I just tangled them through his hair.

"Luke, I'm just really confused." I whispered. "Why does it have to be this way? I heard what happened with Rose and Ashton.. A-And about you boys."

He didn't say anything, just this really sad look on his face. "I'm sorry, Cara. I really am.. I wish I can explain, but I just can't. It's too hard." He sighed.

"What can be so hard to tell me? I'll try to understand.'' I nearly pleaded, as he takes my face into his hands.

"You'll understand sometime. Just.. Not now." He mumbled. "I--"

"Yeah, it's fine. I-I just.. Yeah, maybe Rose is right. This was wrong."

He looked so hurt, I wish I knew why..

"Luke, we've gotta go!" Calum called at the end of the hallway.

"Wait, Calum." He spoke in frustration, as I nodded once.

"Goodbye, Luke." I say, and I just knew this would probably be the last time I'd talk to him before never seeing him in again, for probably a really long time.

Calum just stared at me with the same expression that Luke had before looking away. "Luke, come on."

He looks down, wiping at his eyes as he kept his head low. My lips parted in utter shock as he quickly turned around and walked the opposite way.
