*Y/n's POV*

It was eight o'clock in the morning and Y/n was getting ready for work. She worked at a company called Teminus. Teminus created a VR gear that can fully   immerse a person of the game of their choosing. But the VR gear was not ready for public release. A rival gaming company constantly tries to sabotage Teminus. Because of the attempts of sabotage, Teminus had to delay the VR gear by two years, much to the displeasure of the public. But with the extended two years to the release means that Teminus can work more bugs out of the system.

Y/m takes a sip of her coffee as she reads the morning paper. She sighs in annoyance when she spots an article of another attempts by Axalon Vex, the company that has been trying to stop Teminus. Axalon Vex and Teminus used to be joined as one company years ago, which was co-owned and founded by two brothers. But one day the brothers thought it would be a good idea to split the company and its assets to create two new companies. It was a great idea at first but fifteen years ago, Axalon Vex started to go down hill. Ever since that day the owner of Axalon Vex, Conner, has been trying to sabotage Teminus, which was owned by his brother Alex. No one really knew the truth as to why Axalon Vex started to decline and declare war on the sibling company but it was rather childish.

"Humans never change, do they?" Y/n asks herself before she finished her coffee. Y/n, who was thirty years old and in her prime, worked security detail at Teminus from time to time but she was mostly a beta tester for the VR gear. She was one of the few who was brave enough to step into the video games and return to tell her co-workers where the bugs in the games were and how the bugs acted in the game environment. The one game everyone collectively agreed on that was buggy no mater what was Skyrim. Everyone loved Skyrim at the company that it became the competition to see which one of the beta testers found the most ridiculous of bugs. The most favorite one in the office, if it can even be called a bug, is make a mudcrab were a bucket as a hat.

Y/n finishes her coffee and takes the empty cup to the sink. She rolls up the newspaper and checks to make sure she wasn't missing a part of her uniform. She heads to the door of her apartment. With how big the building of Teminus is, there were a few apartment units available to buy or rent for the employees who want to keep on top of their work without missing a beat. Y/n does a final check to makes sure she had her keys, her wallet, and her lunch for her break as well as making sure the rolled up newspaper never left her hand.

Y/n opens the apartment door and hits the person who was waiting on the other side of the doorway with the news paper. "Good try, Ethan. Your scare tactics won't work on me," said Y/n.

"Hey I at least tried," said Ethan as he rubs his forehead where he was hit with the newspaper. Ethan, was Y/n's twin brother. Both the same age, except he was older by two minutes and he enjoys picking on her about it. Both have been working at Teminus since they've graduated college. They both taken minor courses in college but they both gotten full time jobs at Teminus. The thing is with Y/n and Ethan; even they are both twins, they both are complete opposites of each other. Y/n is more willing to wear the VR gear and go dungeon delving in Skyrim to deal with with spiders and Falmer. Ethan would rather watch the monitors to make sure his sister is safe.

Y/n hands her brother the newspaper. "Axalon Vex tried another hit on Teminus. Same stuff. They tried to break in again. Wee probably won't hear the end of it for a good long time."

Ethan takes the newspaper from his sister. "Yeah I know. Rather silly of them to try to ruin Teminus all because of a petty rivalry. So what do you plan on doing today? Security sweat or beta testing?"

"Beta testing. Found a bug in Whiterun in the Bannered Mare that messed with a texture. Despite Skyrim being made by Bethesda, we still cannot fully work out the bugs."

Ethan opens up the newspaper to find out what the weather will be for the day. "Maybe ixsnay on the beta testing. There's going to be a severe thunderstorm. You should do the security sweap instead today."

"Storms haven't stopped us before." Y/n walks down the hallway to the entrance that lead into Teminus.

"That is true. But what if you get stuck inside the game?"

"We have precautions in place in case that happens." Y/n opens the door and heads on through, leaving her brother in the hallway.

"But it could still happen, sis. Even with the precautions in place it can still happen. If it does happen, we may have to pull the plug on the VR gear," said Ethan to himself before he follows after his sister.
