Unknown POV

There were so many names that I had gone by these years, it was hard to keep track.

I knew that I couldn't stay in my apartment all day, as I needed money and that would only appear by getting a job.

I had sent my CV to many places and prayed that I would get a reply soon.

Most jobs were tedious, unlike my jobs years before. I had fun with them, and the risk of the job always kept me on my toes.

"New email from info@pryzmclub.it"
My Siri announced.

Huh, they must really need the help.

I opened the email and found the address, realising it was not far from my apartment.

Dear Aurora,

We have looked over your CV and are happy to say welcome to Pryzm.

We'd love to have you work for us and we hope to see you tonight so we can begin training with you.

Thanks,
Christian.
Manager of Pryzm.

I decided it would be good for me to check it out later today. It was only morning and I assumed the club wouldn't be open until the evening.

Whether they needed me as a bartender or server, I could work as either and I wouldn't mind.

I had enough experience for both and I felt comfortable working in the environment of a club.

Let's hope it goes well later.

Lorenzo POV
I was sitting in my office, my laptop open in front of me.

I stared at the screen with the images of Javier's girlfriend, Anastasia, from many places in the world.

There was many images online, but her family and background was impossible to find.

Sighing, I dialled the number of Ivan on the telephone we had in every office.

"Ivan, I need you to do me a favour. Come to my office and I'll let you know all the details."

"You got it boss. I'll be there in five."

Less than five minutes had passed before two knocks sounded on my door.

"Come in."

Ivan stepped in, his hair in a buzz cut which was quite the change since the last time I saw him.

"You called?"

"Yes. You see this woman? You might've seen this woman with Javier, because that's his girlfriend. Something seems off about her and I want you to check it out. Tail her, keep track of her day to day business but don't make it obvious. I've hired you for this because I trust you, and I know you can do a damn good job. Do you understand me?"

"Of course, boss. You can trust me with it."

"I know I can, now get to it."

He nodded then left the room, his expression remaining unchanged.

I went down to the shooting range and noticed a couple of our men training there.

I decided to step back and evaluate their shooting before I began some shooting practise of my own.

I grabbed my pistol from the holster and went to an empty lane.

I aimed at the target, one of my eyes closing to make my shot accurate.
