Inside another dormitory.

"Uh... hello?" Jiang Yan lifted his hand and waved at Yu Yin, who was sharing a dorm with him.

The youth stood there quietly, with no response, not even looking up at him.

"..." Rude.

Jiang Yan, who was used to enjoying attention and being sought after by the public, was very rarely ignored like this. The fox ground his teeth, approaching him and saying: "Don't worry, it's not like I'm going to eat you..."

The boy was frightened, immediately stepping back. His face was delicate and pale, and looked timid.

Jiang Yan narrowed his fox eyes.

Oho, the little one's looks were pretty good.

He quickly approached, lowered his voice, saying in the youth's ear: "There are cameras in the room. If you don't want to be showered with curses after the show airs, greet me now. Say hello, got it?"

It was also only because of Yu Yin's beauty that he even pointed out anything. Beauties were supposed to be praised, how could they be cursed.

After speaking, he backed away, laughing loudly: "I didn't expect that we'd share a dorm." Then he winked vigorously with his back to the camera.

Hurry up and say it, hello.

Yu Yin hesitated for a moment, then whispered: "Hello, got it?"

Jiang Yan: "..."

Whatever, he had already improved.

The little siren's ability to understand human language might still have a billion or so problems.

"Um, why don't you go take a shower first. You're probably tired after a whole day of recording. The bathroom's over there." Jiang Yan lowered his voice as he spoke, "There aren't any cameras inside."

Privacy was still necessary; the program group couldn't be so crazy as to even installing cameras in the bathroom.

Yu Yin nodded slightly, turning and going into the bathroom.

He also didn't smell the nasty human scent on Jiang Yan, and this made him feel at ease.

The simple-minded siren didn't even think about why he couldn't smell it.

A long, long time ago, humans thought that eating mermaid flesh would lead to immortality. Mermaid tears could be turned into pearls that would sell for a lot of money, so they went to sea to find and hunt mermaids.

The former was just a rumor, but countless mermaids were still killed as a result.

Sirens and mermaids were two completely different species.

However, because of their similar appearance to the mermaids, they were also mistakenly regarded as a target for hunting. A siren's combat effectiveness was much higher than that of a mermaid's, and were always able to kill humans in retaliation. Humans then used weapons to get revenge, the two races starting a feud.

After that, the mermaids no longer led the way for lost ships. Later, the sirens had even more traditions; when they encountered ships at sea, they would use their singing to lure them over, then drag people overboard and drown them.

With this backstory existing, sirens held innate hostility toward humans, not on good terms with them at all.

If it wasn't for something happening at the bottom of the sea... he wouldn't have come onto land.

Yu Yin closed the bathroom door and filled the bathtub full with water.

This was the only human tool he was familiar with. After all, he had always needed something like a bathtub since he had gone ashore.
