Seoyeon's POV

"I suddenly hate being your friend." I huffed as we exit the fourth shop, which was Gucci.

"It's not my fault that you suck at playing rock paper scissors." He flaunted a victorious smirk at me, while I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

It so happened that I lost at all the rounds and we ended up buying something at every shop we entered. He bought me either a bag or a piece of clothing, which I always refused to accept. I can't believe he spent over 10 million won, like who in the world will do that? I sigh as I check the paper bags on my hand. Eunhye will surely tease me once she sees these.

"I know. I am so generous, right?" He suddenly spoke as he dusts his sleeves with a smug smile on his face.

I scoffed, glared my eyes on him. "If I'm your mother, I would gladly hit you in the head for spending that much. Are you insane? You just spent millions of won, just to pay me back to the things I've done, which never cost so much." I blurted out of frustration, because never in my whole life that I expect to receive this much.

"Money cannot pay the amount of time, effort, and care you've given. What you did, those are priceless. Now if you feel like those are so expensive and that you don't deserve those, then you don't give yourself enough credit." He uttered, "Anyway, the next stop is Givenchy—"

"No. Please, let's just go home." I pleaded, "And I swear, if you enter that place, I will definitely leave you this instance." I warned, so he sighed and slumped his shoulders.

"Alright, let's go home." He said as he turned around and finally decided to agree with me to go home.

I grinned triumphantly as I catch up with his pace. Thank goodness we're going home. I still have lots of things to do, especially the team building will start next week.

"Thank you for coming with me, Seoyeon. I really enjoyed it. I haven't really went out like this for years." He uttered as he walk me by the staircase of the apartment's entrance.

"No worries. Also, thank you for these, uh, stuff." I then raised both hands to show the paper bags. "I highly appreciate all of it. I really do." I said as I flaunt a soft smile at him.

"I'm glad to hear that." He hummed as we stopped at the end of the stairs.

Then, an awkward silence surrounded us. To be honest, I feel kinda uneasy receiving this much gifts and all throughout the drive home, I'm thinking of a way to at least pay him back. Obviously, I can't pay him with luxuries.

"Uhm," I cut the silence between us, "Would you like to have some coffee before you go?" I offered and tried my best to not look so awkward.

"Sure." He agreed, "I mean, if you insist." He scratched his nape as his eyes turn into crescents due to his bashful smile.

"You surely are different from your brother." I mumbled in amusement. "Well, let's go?" I invited and motioned for him to follow me to the apartment.

When we reached the door, I immediately took my keys and unlocked it. Good thing I left the house clean, so it's pretty much presentable. I switched on the lights and slid my feet in to my slippers.

"Please feel at home." I welcomed as I gesture for him to come inside. "Oh, you can use that slipper. It's my father's when he visits, but he doesn't use it anymore." I then pointed at the black slipper and he quietly obliged.

I walked ahead and placed the paper bags on the floor near my bedroom door. I glance at him and almost let out a giggle on how stiff he is while standing to where I left him. He looks like a lost man.
