Camila's P.O.V

"What are your thoughts?"

Valentino inquired as we both stepped out of the car to be met by a stunning scene, the sky so blue that simply gazing at it was tranquil.

"It's wonderful, where are we?" I questioned, still dazzled by the breathtaking scenery.

"At the farm," he said, and I nodded.

"We'll be here for the entire day," he adds, and my eyes widen. Is he being serious the whole day?

"You and Michael, freshen up in the house, Francine and Miss Caroline are waiting," he added, as Marcelo arrived and led me to the home. It wasn't really a home; it was more like a rest stop, but it was absolutely massive.

When we entered, the first person I saw was Francine waiting.

"How did you guys get here so fast?" I asked and Francine frantically approached me and took Micheal.

"Well, rules are rules, Camila. Before your boss gets to the destination, you should first. " Miss Caroline says and takes Michael from Francine.

"I'll go take care of Micheal, you still have lunch." Miss Caroline says and I raised an eyebrow?

"What?" I asked Francine and she smiled.

"You and Mr. Valentino are going to have lunch here. He has arranged a perfect day. And he brought you a dress, picked by a top designer." She squeals and my eyes widen.

"He didn't tell me." I reasoned and she laughed.

"He didn't want you to know because it was supposed to be a surprise now let's go, girl! " She says and drags me upstairs.

We went inside a room that was filled with clothes, makeup, and everything a woman would be obsessed with.

Oh god, time for another adventure.

"You look stunning!"

Francine replies as she completes my makeup. When I opened my eyes, I saw her grinning at me.

She forced me to rise up and made me turn around, facing the mirror. My eyes twinkled. I looked decent...

My hair was in well-designed curls, my cheeks were as red as roses, my lips were glossy and gradient as ever, my eyes were dazzling, and I believe I felt delighted...

"How do you like it?" she asks, squealing.

"I love it, Francine," I replied as I embraced her.

"I'll call Miss Caroline," she replied, and I nodded and returned to my seat on the stool.

I was both thrilled and disappointed. Why do you ask?

Because I suppose a part of me wished for this to happen to Alejandro and me, but it isn't him.

I looked in the mirror and noticed that I was wearing a long-sleeved satin dress. It was both comfy and stylish.

"Dear, you look lovely," someone said, and I turned around to see Miss Caroline.

I laughed as she embraced me.

"Thank you," I said quietly.

"Mr. Valentino is waiting outside, Camila," Francine said, and I nodded and moved away from Miss Caroline.

"I'll see you later," I said softly to her, and she nodded.

When I stepped out of the house and into the farm, I was astounded to discover an incredible table arrangement with flowers all around the gazebo. Valentino was approaching as I looked around. He was fully dressed in a tuxedo.

His hair was neatly styled, and he wore sunglasses. I hugged him, and he hugged me back.

"What is this for?" I inquired, and he grinned.

"For you, Amore," he said quietly, and I smiled back.

We sat and spoke while we waited for the food. I didn't say much since I was too enthralled by the flowers.

"Valentino, do you think I could go back to becoming a doctor?" I asked him out of the blue, and he shrugged.

"I'm not sure, Amore, because we haven't told the world you're alive yet," he added, and I grimaced.

"What's wrong?" he said, taking my hands in his and looking at me.

"I just wanted to live a regular life, you know, have my own house, an apartment, I just want serenity," I explained as I exhaled and looked at him.

"Sometimes life gives you more when you don't get what you want," he added, and I grinned.

Our lunch arrived a few minutes later.

"Shrimp pasta, your favorite," Valentino commented as the waiter brought the dish to us.

"You know me too well," I responded, smiling.

We began to eat and converse.

He was pleasant company, but I didn't feel comfortable confiding in him about my troubles...

Suddenly, one of Valentino's men approached us from nowhere. He whispered something into Valentino's ear, and Valentino abruptly stood up.

"I'll be back, Amore," he murmured, nodding.

I groaned and fiddled with my fork as he went away.

"Valentino had been gone for 10 minutes," I grumbled as I looked at my watch. "Where the hell was he?" I wondered as I stood up. I dashed to the home and noticed Francine moving around hurriedly.

"Camila! What are you doing here!?" she exclaimed as she hurried over to me.

"Where is Valentino?" I inquired.

"He's upstairs in his office, but you can't go in," she said, and I sighed.

"Why not?" I inquired, and she got tense. They were trying to keep something from me. If I figure out what this is, I swear to God-

"I'm going," I murmured, and she took my hand in hers.

"Francine, let me go," I exhaled, and she sighed.

I hurried upstairs and was startled to hear screams. He was conversing with someone whose voice I find familiar.

I sighed as I grasped the doorknob and opened the door.

My eyes widened as I saw Alejandro...
