Aarav's POV:"Ma'am? Ma'am?" The woman beside me shook Rhea frantically alarmed.
"Where is her cabin?" I hoisted Rhea up in my arms and entered the lift.
"1st-floor sir." She said picking up Rhea's phone and stethoscope.
We were on the 6th floor. She joined in pressing the 1st-floor button. She looked at Rhea worried.
Even my gaze flickered to Rhea concerned.
What happened to her suddenly?
She was ready to argue and all of sudden she fainted.
The lift stopped on the first floor and I followed the woman out. We walked towards the end of the corridor. All the while till we reached the cabin I earned gasps and surprised looks. I rolled my eyes at their behaviours.
Have they not seen any man helping a woman?
In your case, it's the rational owner of the hospital helping a woman.
I read the nameplate,
Dr Rhea Aggrawal
MBBS, MS ( General Surgeon )My face morphed in astonishment.
She is a freaking surgeon.
Wow.
As we were about to enter her cabin the door burst open revealing her friends who were giggling at something on their phone. As soon as they noticed me their eyes widened. My face turned blank not expressing any emotion. Then they noticed Rhea in my arms.
"Oh my god! What happened to Rhea?" Her friend exclaimed who I think was Alina.
"Ma'am fainted in the elevator." The woman beside me answered.
The way she was addressing Rhea I guess she must be her assistant or something.
"I am damn sure she didn't have her breakfast." Her other friend said in anger.
"If you people have finished analysing. Move." I snapped at them a little loud irritated.
All three looked at me wide-eyed at my sharp voice and immediately made way for me.
Was I loud?
This is a hospital of-freaking course you were loud.
Shit.
Behave politely.
Okay.
I entered the cabin with her friends and assistant behind me. The cabin was well maintained with white walls and few portraits here and there. I looked around to lay down Rhea. I found a couch at the corner and immediately walked over there and laid her on the couch. I stepped back buttoning up my coat and sat on the single-seater.
"You can go, Samantha. She will be there in half an hour." Her friend said whose name I didn't know yet.
"Sure, ma'am." Her assistant left the cabin.
Then her friends came with a water bottle and chocolate in their hands. They kept it on the table and turned towards me.
"You aren't waking her?" I asked raising my eyebrow at their behaviour.
