Blame It On Pride

Author's Note: 'New Start'

Hello lovelies!

I know that the previous chapter was awfully short, but it's because it was the final one...

Not exactly the final one, but, I still have plans for Y/n's and Rafe's future, but, it would take myriads of chapters to even get to that point, so,

This Author's Note is working like a slide between two parts of this book, after this note, it will be a whole new timeframe and a different side of the story,

You two will be older, it will heated, tense, and moreover, the sexual tension will be over the top...

I was initially planning to make a sequel and start a new book, however it would be rather hectic, so I simply decided to part this one...

The following chapters will not be labelled as 'chapter one etc'

It will be labelled a bit differently, since it's quite difficult to find a specific chapter when it's all annotated by their number,

Here is a brief synopsis of the new part of the book xx:

Everyone always said that, and you felt the same way...

It's been a few years, you two have cooperated even closer together,

People feared you two,

Y/n has already progressed significantly in the agency, but, can you keep the relationship if it's built on lies?

Maybe deception is the facilitating way out, or maybe it's the fear of losing each other?

Can you still blame it on pride? Or is it the neglecting on your devotion because that's what brought you together?

Rafe's obsession was palpable, he was so utterly addicted that he would catch a grenade, set flames to the entire World, kill anyone, however, he would make sure that you don't get injured by the grenade, that not even a modicum cripple of a flame touches you,

And that you never endeavour the view of his inflictive retribution,

You were unbreakable, and that was what hurt the most...'
