Semiloore, you have an appointment with the doctor by 9 so get dressed quickly.
I looked at my mom who was standing door.
I saw her swollen eyes,I can't believe she's still on this.
"Mom are you okay".I asked as I walked to her.
"No just got something in my eyes, she used her handkerchief across her face.
"Hurry up dearly,so I can drop you off.you would take a day off from school total to day".as she turned to leave.
As I stirred at my reflection on the mirror.
"I can't believe the pains am costing my family right now".
Few months ago I was the centre of my beautiful family.
Lying to my friends,about me going to Abuja,made me feel horrible while I spent the whole holiday in the hospital.
As I felt the water from the shower touch my skin......
How the hospital has become my second home.
I was about to miss my first day in ss3.how will I tell the girls the real thing.
"I can't keep lying to them".

I grabbed my phone and ear pods from my bed.

"Am fine".temi is my favourite cousin she stays with us during her free time or when she doesn't have lectures.

"I would have tagged along but I have lectures at 10.
"And you are still sitting here eating cornflakes".said taking water from the fridge.
"Shall we".mom called from the stairs.
"Good morning aunty mi ".
I rolled my eyes.
"Morning temi".
"what do you want today".
I don't even know how temi gets to mom,is she using jazz to get money form momce.
"Dont worry, I will send it to you later in the day".
"Simi let's go".
"Bye couz,love you".she called behind as we walked out of the house.

Who was I going to text,iyin or heather?muttering it in my head.
Am sure iyin would be worried sick so i decided to text heather.
We were stocked in traffic for over 30 minute.
Arriving at the usual gate got when me down.have never liked the hospital.But it now my usual place.
"Simi,I will send my office driver to come pick you up".

"Mom please can you stop been all emotional".i chuckled a little."byeeeee.
Turning to the hospital building,I dont know what's in stock for me.i exhaled out loudly.
