"Your Highness" Pier spoke when he saw the all too familiar red hair that haunted his dreams.

Asher was wearing his usual royalty clothes and a sword was on his side.

Ronnovian also looked at the Crown Prince who was approaching the young master.

"I guess you needed to talk with the Crown Prince first" Ronnovian commented but Pier was thinking otherwise.

"No, I don't need to" He spoke as he turned his back.

"YOUNG MASTER!" Asher called again as he was now approaching them.

Ronnovian eyed the Crown Prince for a second before he turned his back and urged his horse to go.

"We shall also return, young master" The Knight Captain who was left behind by the Headmaster spoke. Pier nodded his head and immediately, the mages of the House of Masters casted a spell that engulfed them and the knights.

With a bright light, they all disappeared in an instant including the knights and mages from the walls.

'That was very convenient...' Pier thought as the sea of warriors from his household had now gone missing.

It was as if they were never present at the gates of the Southern Wall in the first place.

'I should get someone who knows how to teleport' He thought as he faced Asher who had now reached him too.

He brought the hood of his cloak lower, hiding his face in the process.

"Pier..." Asher spoke when all that's left were him, Pier, and the Knight.

Gideon also started to step towards his master who clearly do not want to talk with Asher with the way he's not looking at him.

"Gideon" Pier spoke when Gideon was by his side.

Asher's mouth dropped open when he heard Pier's voice.

It was just as he remembered.

Charming and gentle.

"Yes, young master?" Gideon asked while he was still having a stoic face and was staring at Asher.

"You and Snow enter the gates first" Pier instructed and Gideon froze in his spot.

"P-Pardon?" He asked.

Did he hear that clearly?

No, it couldn't be possible.

He should not leave his young master's side. Not now that the reason why his master continued to help the vampires on the Mir Mountains even while facing extreme danger was here.

He did not want to leave Pier especially now that Asher Lumiere, the Crown Prince was present.

"You won't leave me, just enter the gates first with Snow and I will follow" He instructed and Gideon clenched his hands.

His fists shook lightly but Pier was able to see that.

He took the initiative to approach Gideon.

Pat

Gideon's eyes slightly widened

"I'll be fine, I won't leave" Pier spoke as he ruffled the knight's hair.

Gideon was now pretty much taller than Pier so Pier had to slightly look up as well when he was talking to Gideon.

The knight's eyes softened and his fists unclenched.
