a few days have passed.
it was the day of the ball, many preparations were being made.
josh eventually told andie about the ball... talk about late. but, he never mentioned the dress code. thankfully, evan found that out from clarisse; it was a periwinkle blue and white ball, it may seem like a good thing, but there was a slight problem.
nothing in their wardrobe was periwinkle, let alone blue.
thankfully, andie had maeve, her guardian fairy.
"hmm... so are we thinking a large blue gown or—"
"this isn't cinderella, maeve."
"but it could be! joshy could be your prince charming." maeve giggled.
"i don't like gowns."
"loosen up, andie! it's just one night." evan spoke, trying to convince his friend.
andie glanced over at evan, then towards maeve, who was waving their wand around.
"fine. but promise this will be for one night only?"
"i don't think i can promise that." evan replied, trying to lighten up andie's mood.
"shut up. maeve, just — do your thing."
"you can't make me do something without saying 'i wish'." maeve clarified, causing andie to groan out of annoyance.
"i wish i had a dress for the ball." andie spoke, nonchalantly.
"your wish is my command, princess!"
