Xavier's pov:

I took a deep breath before entering the room

"Oh hey how's it been going? Oh how I am? I'm absolutely great except that I'm sitting here....on a hospital bed because my dear cousin beat the shit out of me But other than that I'm great thanks for asking" I rolled my eyes

I won't lose control not now

I clenched my fists

"I'm leaving" I stated taking a seat on the chair beside the bed

"Leaving?" He blinked

"Alessandro threatened to.......kill Riley if I don't stay away from her" the image of her dead body returned to my mind

I'd put a bullet in my head before anything happens to her

"So that's it? Where are you gonna go?" Wow I almost believed he was sad I'm leaving

"I'll return to Italy....permanently" I go there alot but I never stayed for long

The longest I stayed there was for a year

"And Jasmine?" He sits up

"She'll come with me" Jasmine only went to Italy when she was a baby but she did go there

"You can't be serious! You're gonna take her to Italy? Do you know how dangerous that is? Alessandro has many gangs in Italy and many rivals and You're gonna take her there? That's fucked up man" I roll my eyes

"Do you have any other ideas?" He stayed silent "Good so shut up"

"What about your parents?"

I snort "you should be the one to know that they can die for all I care"

"Oh I do know that I mean how do you know your parents will agree to let Jasmine leave to Italy.......permanently"

"When Alessandro's in the picture they don't have a choice" maybe I'll start packing Jasmine's things today

"How about the most important one? Riley?" I clenched my fists

"I told her.....she got a panic attack then fell asleep" I stared into space

I don't want to leave her

I really really don't

But I love her too much to be selfish with her

She's done nothing wrong to enter my fucked up life

It's too dangerous

"And you're still leaving?" Remind me why I'm here again?

"Yes Tyler I'm still leaving it's not like I have a choice. You out of all people should know that with Alessandro it's leave or kill no other option" he nodded his head Agreeing with me

"So why are you here? I know you're still mad so you're definitely not here to check up on me" ah he's got brains

"I want you to stay here and take good care of Riley" he's the only one I can trust to do that

"You want me to stay in California permanently? Fuck no mom would kill me" I narrowed my eyes at him "Ok fine whatever you say boss" I rolled my eyes and got up leaving the room

I exited the hospital and entered my car heading to the penthouse
