Remus Lupin sighed as he watched Avery Flynn fuss over Peter Pettigrew.

Remus didn't get the big deal of why she was fussing over the boy. He only had a stuffed nose. Although he was throwing up quite a lot. Remus was concerned for his friend but at the moment he just didn't care to show it.

It was no wonder people saw her as the mom friend.

While Remus was consumed in his thoughts Avery was looking over at him and sighed. She opened her mouth to speak but at that moment Peter had started to throw up in a basket that Avery had charmed to make sure his puke doesn't overflow the basket.

The girl rubbed his back soothingly and looked at Remus, "You know you're going to talk to him, right?"

He didn't even have to ask who she was referring to as 'him'. Remus sighed knowing she was right but still wasn't ready. He still had to think and needed some space before he tried speaking to Sirius.

"I know.. But I'm just not ready yet." Remus explained as he looked at the wall.

"I know, Rem, but be prepared if he starts trying to apologize and talk to you." Avery says as she hands Peter a tissue to blow his nose into.

"I-" he hadn't thought of that. After all it has been a few days and Sirius always only waited at least two days to give someone space before getting impatient and going back to that person. He sighed, "I will try to control my anger."

Of course Remus was still slightly angry, his boyfriend, who he had trusted not to do anything like this or betray him, betrayed his trust. So, he had every right to be mad.

"Remus, I know you will be able to do it. You just have to focus on your mental anchor, the person who keeps you at bay. The- the person who comes to mind that you see comfort in." Avery slightly exclaims, smiling softly as she watches Remus' face soften at the thought of his anchor.

She wasn't going to push him to tell her who or what his anchor was. Heck, it wouldn't even be a surprise if it was chocolate. She was just glad that he could find comfort in something or someone.

Later that day, James was found sat in the Common room messing around his wand and flicking a few times, watching with a bored expression on his face as a few sparks would shoot out but go away a second later.

It was Saturday meaning there was no classes and since there were no classes he had nothing to do. He obviously wouldn't read a book, that would bore him the second he read the title. Honestly he'd rather have someone read to him. It may seem childish but it just seemed better to listen to instead of reading. James found it interesting when others read a book out loud, they'd say it differently or talk fast or slow. He liked it when people made funny voices. Remus and Peter had said Avery does that sometimes, he was kind of hoping for the girl to read a book to him sometime soon.

He sighed as put his wand down and lifted his feet up onto a table in front of the couch he was on. The Gryffindor boy sat there, staring lazily at the fireplace before he took in his surroundings.

He looked to his left to see a group of first-years boys sat in a corner planning something. Reminded him of himself, Remus, Peter, and- ... Sirius..

Now that he actually thinks about the boy he couldn't help but wonder if things would go back to normal for them. As much as he disagreed with the choices of the boy he couldn't help but miss his best friend. James just wished it hadn't happened. But then again.. He probably wouldn't be going on a date with the girl he fancies this weekend. The Potter boy would've probably chickened out and just push away his feelings. James knew he probably shouldn't do that knowing that he would have a chance since he is going on a date with the girl after all.
