I put my ankles behind his knees and position myself further down on him. "What are you doing?" He asks and I just ignore him while still doing my own thing. I then feel him enter my folds slowly, "Oh fuck, you will be the death of me and this kingdom" I giggle at his comment and start moving slowly up and down. 
With my ankles under his knees, I had better access to him and was thus easier for me to move.

Zion had this weird smile on his face, while my wolf was extremely angry at him and his wolf. I felt myself going lightheaded and I could no longer keep my eyes open. 

I woke up about a week later on a hospital bed, Zion sitting across from me, watching me like a hawk. "What happened?" I asked groggily, not recognizing my own voice. "Can you get me some water please?"

He gets up and handles me a glass of water that was sitting on the nightstand. "Just allow me to talk without interrupting me. Your body rejected my mark" He said oh so casually and I spit my water out. "We marked each other, but your body decided it didn't want to bear my mark" He said sounding hurt.

As it should, what do you think this is? A shit show?

I hum at my wolfs remark, but can't help and feel bad for him. "Before you say anything, I did ask for your consent" I frown at him, I don't remember giving him my consent to marking me.

"I wasn't thinking when you asked for my consent" I tell him and he nods his head, I suddenly feel very upset and I know these are not my feelings. "The mate bond is forming isn't?" he nods again and this time I just hum at him. "So now what? I mean, my body is refusing to accept your mark, my wolf is not happy with you at all and is even more angrier with your wolf for not controlling itself"

He sighs and looks out the window of the very spacious room. "I'd be lying if I were to say that I regret marking you, besides the fact that your mark also looks amazing on me" He then moves his head to the side and I see the crescent moon with sprouting flowers laying beautifully on his neck. "Even though you missed the spot, but is fine, cause now is more visible". He then walks over to me and my breath gets caught in my throat, as he stands so close to my face. "I don't know about you, but I do want to try this" 

Do we want try this?

You think I marked him for nothing? He is hot as fuck and the human side of you two have a lot of chemistry, I just didn't want it to happen the way it did.

She lets a low whimper at that last part and I sighed, our first mark wasn't very romantic either.

"I am willing to try, but you will have to make it up for the rest of your life for marking me while I was high on you" I say and he smiles like a kid on Christmas day and jumps on the bed with me, kissing me all over making me giggle at all the affection from him. 

Zion makes loving easy, he has been trough the same pain of rejection as I did and there is no other person who understands me better, who understands the reason why I do things the way I do. Falling for him will be as easy as falling asleep. 

And I was right.
