Jungkook takes out his shirt and properly folds it and puts it in the cupboard. Taking out the rest of his clothes he steps into the shower and turns the shower on. Hot water flows through his perfect body outlining the toned abs.

After the warm shower he comes out wearing his bath robe.

Jungkook takes his phone and goes through the contacts

"Jeena"

He stops

He looks at the name for a while as it brings back all the memories tied up with the name. Its been 6 weeks since he has last spoken to his sister.

It is not like jungkook didn't like jeena but his big sister always reminded him of that man and somewhere she felt their father would have redeemed himself if given a chance.

But jungkook doesn't believe that

A criminal is always a criminal.

After battling with himself for a while he presses the call button

"jungkook" a sweet voice appears from the other side

Jungkook stays silent for a while. Jeena is actually the spitting image of their mother starting from the voice to her face, she resembles her mother in every way.

"you sound so much like her" jungkook thinks

"hello" he says simply

"how are kookie?" she asks, her voice full of love

"i am fine how are you?" he asks formally

"i am fine"

"how is Soobin"

"he is good too"

"noona, i umm i am in Seoul"

"oh thats great kookie, where are you staying?"

"in an apartment near the police station"

"kookie come live with me i have an extra room you can stay there easily"

"thats alright noona umm i need to go now bye!"

Before she could say anything he hung up

It had been so long that jungkook had talk to his sister that now he really doesn't understand how to communicate with her. He loves her but their is this gap which he doesn't know how to fill.

Keeping his thoughts aside he goes to the kitchen to prepare his dinner

Roasted vegetables

Suddenly the door bell rings

Jungkook opens it and finds a grinning boy standing there.

"what?" jungkook asks sternly

Taehyung looks at him from top to bottom, wearing a bath robe.

"hmm you are actually quite handsome" he says in a flirtatious tone

jungkook rolls his eyes. But taehyung wasn't wrong actually also given that he was wearing a bath robe and his hair was all wet it enhanced his handsomeness.

"what do you want" he repeated

Taehyung takes out the book from his bag and shows it to jungkook

"here you can have it" he says

Jungkook frowns

"well i thought we guys are next door neighbours now and you can just read it and return it whenever you want to" he shrugged

Jungkook stayed quiet for a moment and then took the book and shut the door on taehyung's face.

Taehyung was all shocked watching the closed door with big eyes and open mouth.

"your welcome grumpy" murmured taehyung.

But he did not want to leave so he ramg the bell again

Jungkook opened the door with a straight face

"you know you could have atleast said thank you or at least give me a smile or act like i dont know... a human maybe??? But you shut the door on my face, on my face! What sort of a neighbour are you huh!!" yelled taehyung

Taehyung was now panting, both looking at each other.

" thank you " jungkook said politely but with out a smile

Taehyung closed his mouth and cleared his throat" your welcome"

As soon as taehyung said that jungkook shut the door on his face..again.

Taehyung just murmured some words and left from there.

It was pretty late at night and jungkook was all alone in his room

He takes out the book amd brings it closer to his chest.

Jungkook 's POV

I still remember the day you brought this book home mom and how much you nagged around me to read it and understand the story.

I am sorry i am so sorry that i couldn't do it then but now i will and this book, this story will be another memorandum of yours,mom.
