You leaned against the wall, watching as the crowd of party goers passed by and moved onto something more interesting on the other side of the room. You had come to the party with your best friend, San, and you were already regretting your decision.

The party was loud, full of music and flashing lights, you weren't a huge fan of the environment but you didn't want to let San down, even if he had been guilted by his friends to come in the first place.

As you spaced out in the corner of the room, ignoring what was going on around you. You nearly had a heart attack when one of San's friends popped out of nowhere, waving his hand in front of your face, trying to get your attention.

"Why are you all alone Y/n?". He asked.

You shrugged before taking a sip of your drink, "I don't know. Just not fond of parties I guess", You sighed again before standing straight, "Have you seen San, Woo? I haven't seen in a few hours".

Wooyoung laughed. "He probably met a cute girl."

"Typical". You scoffed.

"Oh come one Y/n, You've been his friend since 5th grade and not once has he escaped the friendzone. Cut the guy some slack."

You rolled your eyes. "Easy for you to say, You weren't left all alone- I don't even know half these people!"

"Try talking to someone?". Wooyoung looked around before his eyes landed on Yeosang, "Why don't you talk to Yeosang?"

"No".

"Why not?"

"Because he's my brother, I didn't come to a party just to talk to my brother".

Wooyoung sighed. "Why don't I just take you home?"

You smiled with utter relief. It was socially exhausting to spend time with so much people, and considering you had already been at the party for almost 3 hours, your social battery was running on empty.

"Thanks. But won't you miss the party?", You looked around, "This is kinda your thing".

Wooyoung shrugged. He set his drink down and reached for his jacket, It was an older leather jacket that Hongjoong had found while thrifting, but it fit his outfit perfectly.

"I don't mind. Besides, knowing that a beautiful girl like you will get home safely will be the highlight of the night".

You chuckled at his shameless flirting. You really never thought anything of his flirting because whenever someone heard the name "Jung Wooyoung", they immediately associated flirt with it, so you were used to his shamelessness by now.

"Alright, let's go. Let me just call San and tell him I'm leaving". You reached for your phone and clicked on his number. It rang for a while until you were greeted by San's bubbly voice on the other side, the recording ended with San saying goodbye and you left a quick voicemail, just letting him know that Wooyoung would be taking you home so he didn't have to wonder where you went.

"He didn't answer?". Wooyoung made a pouty voice as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

"Nope. Probably screwing around somewhere". You tucked the phone back in its little pocket home and you followed Wooyoung out of the house.

It was freezing outside, even though your thick sweatshirt guarded you from most of the cold, the icy monster still found its way beneath your warmth, poking at your skin. To your relief, Wooyoung's car wasn't too far away, so you once you made it to the car, you hopped inside and Wooyoung turned on the heater.
