~𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺~

Sometimes I do wonder,
This vicious circle of life.
What responsibilities are we buried under,
How are desires supposed to strive?

When all our efforts go in vain,
As we hastily chase our goals.
Tell me is it worth that pain?
Our struggle to fit into our given roles.

Praised we are, even shunned at times.
As we struggle to follow the given plan.
But no one cares about the grave crimes,
of the dreams being killed in our entire lifespan.

"It's not the reality"
We're so often told,
Slowly brewing the toxic mentality,
Where thoughts are butchered out cold.
Only pain and suffering are real,
In this forsaken reality it seems.
And only ones who have the courage to deal,
Are allowed to breed dreams!
