Chapter 3 - Through the First Day

Soon, class was over and it was time to head home.

???: "Hey!! L/N!"

You look behind you and you see Ashido.

Mina: "L/N! Wanna walk home together?"

Y/N: "Yeah! Sure!"

You wait for Ashido to catch up and start walking together.

Y/N: "What did you think of class? It was pretty cool seeing everyone's quirks in action."

Mina: "Yeah! I wonder what we'll be doing tomorrow! Maybe we'll get to wear our costumes!"

Y/N: "Ooh! That would be amazing! We'd finally get to do some real hero stuff!"

Mina: "I bet we'll see All Might tomorrow!"

Y/N: "I hope so! He's super cool! Well, this is my place, thanks for walking with me!"

Mina: "No Problem! Hey, we should walk together every day!"

Y/N: "Yeah, I'd love to!"

Mina: "Sweet! I'll come by here tomorrow and walk with you."

Y/N: "Alright! See ya tomorrow."

Mina: "Bye!"

Y/N: "Mum! I'm home!"

Mum: "Y/N! Finally! You're home! You're two minutes late!"

Y/N: "Sorry..."

Y/T: 'That went well... Huh?'

You pick up your phone and see a message from an unknown number.

(text) Unknown: "Heyyy!! :D This is L/N, right?"

(text) Y/N: "Who's this?"

(text) Mina: "It's Ashido, silly! You gave me ur number, remember?"

(text) Y/N: "Oh! I didn't expect you to text so soon."

(text) Mina: "Weeelllll I was just so excited about talking to you that I wanted to text you right away!!"

(text) Y/N: "Well then, why don't we talk for a little bit? I need to relax."

(text) Mina: "Relax? U ok? Or just first day stress? :/"

(text) Y/N: "Just first day stuff :p"

(text) Mina: "Well then, I'm here to cheer you up!"

You giggle to yourself and watch the screen as you wait for Ashido to reply.

(text) Mina: "What do you call a fish with no eyes?"

(text) Y/N: "???"

(text) Mina: "Fsh"

You stare blankly at your screen.

Y/N: "What...? Did she just...?"

(text) Mina: "Ha! Get it?"

(text) Y/N: "Omg Ashido."

(text) Mina: "Yep. Bet that put a smile on your face!"

You shake your head and try not to laugh.

(text) Y/N: "I'll admit I smiled a little."

(text) Mina: "Good! There's no need for frowns here! :D"

Mum: "Y/N!! I need you!! Come here!"

(text) Y/N: "Hey, my mum needs me for something. I'll walk with you tomorrow though, okay!"

(text) Mina: "Yep! U better not forget!"

(text) Y/N: "I won't!"

You place your phone on your desk and go downstairs. You help your mum, even if it was a little awkward, and then head back to your room. You read a book to pass the time. Soon, it's time to go to bed. Your eyes closed and you rested for the night.
