JORDAN'S FOCUS WAS ON THE semi-complete sheet in front of her. The only sounds in the classroom were pencils tapping desks, erasers being hardly rubbed on papers and shuffling feet. Physics was definitely not her strong suit. She would rather be in chemistry or biology, those were her best subjects, the one's she felt most confident with.

Her eyes stared at the paper as her hands cradled her head in distress. She scanned the exercise over and over again, trying to figure out how to solve it. Why the hell did she want to know what speed a car would need to get from point A to point B and then to point C in only twenty seconds? It was all pointless.

She needed Peter in these situations. He was the one good at physics and would help her during these situations. But of course, he freed himself from the test because he went on a field trip to the Museum of Modern Art. She could've gone along with him and Ned but her parents didn't sign the permission slip since they were both gone working, again.

Nobody thought that the two nerds would become close friends with one of the popular girls in Midtown High. But everything changed nearly two years ago when Peter tried to stop Vulture in their freshman year. Peter and Ned discovered that she had powers of her own and Jordan discovered that Peter was Spider-Man.

Jordan started to play with the numbers given with her calculator to see if she would magically get the correct answer, which would be pretty difficult considering it wasn't a multiple choice test. As she typed in the numbers, the ground suddenly started rumbling and everyone looked up from their test and glanced at each other. The teacher slowly stood up to look out of the window and let out a loud gasp. All the students got up from their seats intrigued at what their teacher had seen. A massive ring shaped ship hovered above the city as it descended.

The school's fire alarm started to go off, the teacher shouting instructions since all you could hear was shouting. Jordan quickly grabbed her backpack and ignored her teacher as she made her way out of Midtown High along with other students. Her immediate thought was that Peter was on his way towards the ship and her plan was to find him there. But she was thirty minutes away by train and she didn't have a suit that could fly her over to the scene in just seconds. She ran towards the train station across the street a quickly bought a ticket for the next train that arrived just as she arrived. It was a long and painful journey as her eyes never looked away from the ship. Just as the train stopped at the nearest station from the ship, she sprinted off and cursed quietly once she noticed the ship start to fly away from the ground as a blue light seemed to bean two people up.

Picking up her speed, she ran into a park where she saw a portal being opened -making her eyes widen- and Tony Stark in his Iron Man suit laying on the grass beneath it. The portal closes and a large alien hand falls out making Bruce Banner kick it away in disgust.

"Wong, you're invited to my wedding." Tony said.

"Mr. Stark, wait!" Jordan ran up to them but Tony had already flown away towards the flying metal donut ship. "Shit." She took a deep breath in trying to calm her heartrate after feeling like she just ran a marathon. She heard a groan of disgust in front of her and Bruce looked like he was about to puke because of the amputated alien hand on the grass.. He was her only hope for the moment. "Mr. Banner."

Bruce looked up from the hand as Wong made his way back to the Sanctum. "Yes?"

"Hi, I'm Jordan, uh, you don't really know me but I know Mr. Stark and I wanted to ask if you saw Spider-Man around here? I'm pretty sure I saw him being sucked into the ship but I'm not really sure." Jordan ranted as her arms moved rapidly around her. "He's a friend of mine, the person under the mask I mean, I knew he was gonna come here and I'm worried about him."

"Uh-" Bruce glanced around and saw Wong a few feet away from them already. "I think I saw a small glimpse of him." He said before following Wong. Jordan sighed and jogged to catch up with him.

"What was that thing?" She asked.

"I don't know."

The two didn't say anything else as they followed Wong into the streets which were filled with debris, cars and bikes flipped over, some with smashed windows and small fires between the rubble. It looked like ten percent of the damage that happened back in two thousand and twelve when the Avengers fought Loki and his army. Wong stopped in the middle of the road and opened a portal again, this time stepping inside. Jordan's eyes widened once again, it was probably one of the coolest things she had ever seen. Bruce bent down and grabbed a flip phone that was beneath the debris but she paid no attention.

"Where are you going?" Bruce asked.

"The Time Stone's been taken." Wong explained. "The Sanctum remains unguarded. What will you do?"

"Time Stone?" Jordan mumbled to herself in question.

"I'm gonna make a call."

With a nod, Wong closed the portal with a hand gesture and the orange spiral disappeared into thin air. Jordan looked behind her at Bruce while he opened the flip phone, glancing over his shoulder she let out a quiet gasp. "You're gonna call Captain America?"

"Listen kid," Bruce looked at her and let out a sigh. "You should better go home, we don't know what could happen next."

"But I can help!"

"I don't think there's any way you could help unless you got powers of your own." He said before dialing the phone number and putting the phone on his ear.

Jordan kept quiet for a few seconds. Bruce Banner was an Avenger, he was smart and she surely knew he could keep a secret, hopefully. If Peter was up in space in that ship, she would do anything to help out with the problem at hand. Maybe along the way she would finally cross path with Peter and make sure that he's safe.

One of her best friends was now stuck in space. That's a new one.

"What if I do have powers?"
