Prologue - Souls

You'll die sooner or later for this universe.

Those were the first words your parents had told you when you turned of age.

You were born to a couple in the sky that had only had a child so that they could seal an incoming disaster.

The stars don't have feelings.

Then why were you raised with more care and love than any family in the world?

Then how come your parents took pity on two lovers in a foreign universe and reincarnated them?

You who had been created, raised with care, with love, was told that you would be dying for a world you didn't know.

You were capable of making your own decisions, yet you were being forced into a corner.

So you did what you were capable of.

You summoned a soul from another universe, draining your own lifespan to put their soul into a newborn.

Your parents yelled at you, berated you, threatened to kill you.

How dare you disrupt the balance of the universe?!

So you sent yourself to the world as well, sealed your soul in the body of a child.

You hoped that you could meet the boy you ripped from his world.

And you prayed he wouldn't blame you for doing that to him.
