I was walking inside trying to find Scott after they won the game and are now going to state when I ran into someone.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to run into you."I told the person only to realize it was Scott

"It's okay babe, quick question have you seen Stiles?" he asked me

"Uh no not since this afternoon when he told me he was worried about his first game as first line."I told him to which he nodded"Also you did amazing out there and congrats you're going to state."I said pulling him into a hug and pecking his cheek

"Thanks, babe but it really was nothing," he said trying to play it off

"It's not nothing, I already informed Mama McCall that we are going out to dinner to celebrate so hurry up and get changed," I told him but before he could respond one of the players came up and shouted state over and over again till Scott gave him a look and he backed away

"We don't need to go out though." he said rubbing my shoulder

"I'm not taking no for an answer go get changed and showered."I said lightly pushing him toward the locker room

"Okay fine." He said before he quickly pecked my lips and ran to the locker room, unbeknownst to us what was waiting in the locker room for him.

Scotts pov

I was getting dressed after taking a shower and talking to Danny when I heard a noise somewhere and the lights going out in the locker room I went to investigate and it turns out it was just Derek standing in the showers

I gasped before walking closer to him"Thank god, where the hell have you been? Do you have any idea what's been going on?" I questioned him not noticing a person coming behind me

I turned around when I saw Derek's eyes look behind me and saw a man who I didn't recognize with a lacrosse stick.

"I really don't get lacrosse." The man spoke

"It was you." I stated in shock

"When I was in high school we played basketball. There's a real sport." The man continued ignoring what I said before and I looked back at Derek in disbelief "Still, I read somewhere that lacrosse comes from the Native American tribes and that they played it to resolve conflict. Do I have that right?"He shrugged after asking the question but continued before anyone could answer. "I have a little conflict of my own to resolve, Scott. But I need your help to do it."

"I'm not helping you kill people," I told him in an almost threatening tone and

"Well, I don't want to kill all of them. Just the responsible ones. And that doesn't have to include..." He trailed off looking at Derek

"Ella." Derek said in a monotone voice

The man who I now realized was his uncle Peter nodded a thanks. I turned to look at Derek with raised eyebrows

"You're on his side?" I asked him in disbelief"Are you forgetting the part where he killed your sister?"

"It was a mistake."He deadpanned

"What?" I asked in utter shock and disbelief

"It happens." He responded through gritted teeth

"Scott."Peter called which made me turn my head towards him"I think you're getting the wrong impression of us. We really just want to help you reach your full potential."

"By killing my friends." I deadpanned

"Sometimes the people closes to you can be the ones to hold you back the most." Peter told me
