Jiang Yao stared at him, the desire in his eyes vivid and clear.

Yin Che's mind went blank for a moment.

What followed immediately after was acute pain.

It was like having an electric drill bored into his head, it was like having a steel bar stabbed into his body.

Jiang Yao hadn't moved any further, yet he was still dying of pain.

"What's wrong? Your face is so pale......" Jiang Yao withdrew his leg and reached out to touch his face.

He slapped his hand away. "Don't touch me."

He knew that he was overreacting, but he couldn't control his own mind and body. He trembled and slid down the wall. He curled up on the floor, cold sweat pouring down his face, his vision blurring with confusion.

Jiang Yao's silhouette transformed into the image of multiple people, though the scene was shadowy and indistinct. It was difficult to know what was reality and what was his imagination.

Jiang Yao crouched down after him, "Are you okay? I didn't expect you to resist this much...... I'm sorry. In the future, I won't do that kind of thing."

Won't do that kind of thing? Will we just never go beyond holding hands and hugging for the rest of their lives?

Yin Che suddenly felt that Jiang Yao was too pitiful.

He was already an adult, an outstanding alpha, who originally could've had a beautiful experience with love. But now he had no choice but to carefully and cautiously date him. Even touching him any further was out of the question. He was so incredibly humble.

This kind of love, to him, made each day worth living, but, to Jiang Yao, was it really worth it?

Yin Che buried his head in his arms for five minutes, until those rampant thoughts and the pain gradually disappeared.

He raised his head and met Jiang Yao's concerned and worried gaze, as if he thought he'd done something bad.

"......that next step of yours was a bit too big," he tried his best to use a relaxed tone, "Is that really what comes after hugging and holding hands? Didn't you skip a step?"

Jiang Yao heaved a sigh of relief and smiled at him, "We've already kissed though."

"When?"

"You forgot? Last time, you secretly kissed the back of my hand."

"......there was no kiss," Yin Che would die before admitting it, "That was a figment of your imagination."

"Okay, I imagined it. If that's what you say, then that's it." Jiang Yao pulled him up and hugged him. "I just finished exercising, so my pheromones are unstable. I got impulsive and scared you, I'm sorry."

"I get it. Your apology the first time was enough."

For a guy at this age, being full of desire was understandable. If he was changed to a normal omega, he probably just would've been confused and disoriented, eagerly hoping that Jiang Yao would touch him a bit more.

But he always rejected him, always acted so strangely.

No one could like that kind of reaction.

"Let's take it slow, I'm still not used to it."

"Then can I kiss you?" Jiang Yao asked in a low voice.

Yin Che imagined the scene for a moment and his heart started racing a bit. "Not yet."

"How about kissing another place? Like your hand?"
