When they returned to the villa, only the last few rays of the multicolored sunset's light remained.

As the injured person, Han Meng could only sit on the sidelines to oversee everything, conducting everyone as they moved the grill and made skewers, sitting back after to reap the results without contributing at all.

"This is pretty good." He happily took a bite of a piping hot beef skewer.

"Lao Han was so bold and powerful today. I was totally shocked to catch sight of you jumping in to save the class monitor in the distance," Guo ZhiXiong said.

Zhou HaoLiang added, "That's right. And no need to mention Che Ge and Yao Ge. They knocked all those guys down in less than a minute. It fundamentally couldn't be called a fight at all, it was a steamrolling!"

Jiang Yao, flipping the roasting potato chips, said with a smile, "I was the support and Che Che was the main DPS."

Yin Che said nothing in reply, taking small sips of the warm milk he was holding and looking totally uninterested.

After the first round of cooking was complete, Jiang Yao picked up one of each kind of skewer and sat next to Yin Che. Holding up the plate, he offered, "Take whatever you want."

Yin Che shook his head, "I have no appetite. You can eat them."

"My da shaoye, his palate is quite the picky one. What do you want to eat then? I'll go buy it."

"No need."

But Jiang Yao took advantage of him not paying close attention and snuck out of the villa to go to a nearby Hong Kong-style tea room and pick up some dim sum, having to wait there about half an hour.

As a result, when he went back outside, there was heavy rain coming down.

There were no shops selling umbrellas nearby, so he could only brave the rain and run back. Even though the distance was very short, he was still drenched like a drowned rat afterwards.

The others had already finished eating the barbecue and gone back into the villa. They were now playing games in front of the TV in the living room.

"Where's my deskmate?"

"He went upstairs," Guo ZhiXiong replied, "Wait, no, Che Ge is my deskmate now."

"He won't be when school starts back up."

Jiang Yao walked upstairs. Their bedroom door was closed tightly, as if politely refusing all entry. He twisted the knob, but it had been locked, so he knocked on the door, "CheChe, open the door. I bought some dinner for you."

He had to wait a while for the door to open. When Yin Che caught sight of how he was drenched from head to foot, he blinked in surprise. "It's raining?"

"Yup, you didn't notice?" Jiang Yao put the carry-out bag on the desk. "It's coming down pretty heavy, so there might be lightning in a bit. You should head to sleep after eating."

"Mhm."

Jiang Yao took a shower in the bathroom, then changed into his pajamas and wiped his hair dry, only to find that the box of dim sum hadn't been disturbed at all and that Yin Che was standing at the window, watching the rain as if lost in thought.

Jiang Yao walked over and pulled the curtains closed. "You'll catch a cold. Why didn't you eat? Do you not like it?"

Yin Che hung his head and turned around, "I don't feel like eating. I'll put it in the fridge and eat it tomorrow, okay?"

Jiang Yao barred his way at the door of the room.

"Do you not feel well?"

There was no obvious sweet scent in the air; his heat from the morning should've already been suppressed by alpha pheromones.
