Adriana waded through the street full of invisible people. She looked right through their transparent bodies, as the thick, green fog drifted over London.
It had been a few years since the war had created a nuclear blast that almost wiped out all of humanity. Adriana and a few others, who evacuated, had survived.
The spirits of the dead still haunted the Earth, since they could not find a way to the other side. Although Adriana was the only one who could see them, the spirits haunted everyone. They brought sorrow to the group of survivors, and the dismal spirits depressed the living. The land of the living died.
