Y/n sat at the Ravenclaw table during breakfast, waiting for Harry's love confession.
He kept looking over at her nervously and every time she would give him a big double thumbs up with a grin. That caused him to blush furiously and look back at Ron, who was seated across from him.
When breakfast was almost over, Harry looked to see Y/n gesturing him to hurry up.
With a sigh, Harry stood up and climbed on top of the Gryffindor table.
"Harry, what are you doing?!" Hermione hissed.
"Hello everyone!" Harry shouted so all of the great hall could hear.
"Harry Potter get down from there!" Hermione exclaimed.
"I have to tell you all something... god this is hard" he took a sharp inhale of breath and glanced over at Y/n.
She was holding her hand against her mouth to conceal her laughter.
"I am completely, utterly, hopelessly, totally, unreasonably, heart wrenchingly, madly, in love with.... toast."
Everyone had gone silent and was staring at him.
At this, Y/n stopped trying to cover her laughter and let it freely echo throughout the hall. Bringing a smile to Harry's face.
"I just- couldn't keep it in anymore" he gave a dramatic sigh, "my love for toast is just- I can't describe it.. it just has that allure that nothing else has"
Y/n banged her fist on the table while wheezing.
"Well, that's all. Thank you" Harry gave a bow and got down off of the table.
Everyone was still staring at Harry as he got down but he was only looking at one person's reaction.
Y/n leaned her head against the table as she shook with silent laughter.
All the Professors were far too confused to do anything about the situation.
