Now, Marfew planet wasn’t like any other planets. Well, planets never actually had any similarities before. But Marfew planet was excruciatingly the most abundant and resourceful in large wild creatures.

The three teenagers have gone out to the west side of town to find a common ground animal located near Spinkle Falls also known as the deep, dark Devinian forest.

Quint was ready with his backpack and rope while Philip was almost done organizing his tracker and James was being accompanied.

“I can’t believe you brought your butler!” Philip exclaimed, still locking his eyes on the wires of his gadget.

“You know I can’t do stuff that can hurt me. Besides, Burben here has some excellent healing remedies” James proudly said.

Beside James was a large bunny rabbit that could also change size like Quint’s eliotte dog. Burben’s fur was blue and soft and had an aura of azure when you look closely at him. This was one of James’ butlers and he adored him very much.

Quint was standing there in the field with Masuki in her normal size, looking out for any animals. This wasn’t the place they were looking for though. They’ve dreamt bigger and darker than anyone in the town could.

“Could you two please shut up and start focusing on the plan?” Quint said turning to the commotion at hand.

Philip and James stopped bickering and stood there, not looking at each other or be near each other.

Quint smiled, like he thought everything was a joke. “The space wolves never go by on the field, so it’s safe”

“But Monchitas live on the field, if we step afoot on one of their holes, it’s bye-bye for us”

“Monchitas?” James asked, his anger for Philip broke away and so was Philip who was against James. “I didn’t know there were Monchitas here”

“Well there are” Quint said still smiling. “It’s not like we’re attacking them”

“Quint, are you crazy?” Philip asked.

     “Yes, yes I am”

Philip looked at him. He knew his bestfriend very well and he knew he acted a little crazy. But he always thought that Quint had sense inside his noggin.

James clapped and Burben rolled out back to town.

“What just happened? Did Burben cry?” Quint asked while James tried to enclose his tears.

“Monchitas eat bunny rabbits like Burben” James said, tears jerked out. “But it’s okay, Burben’s going to be safe at home”

“Why the hell are you crying?”Quint asked.

James wiped his face and cleared his nose. “Nothing. I’m just scared”

Philip hit him with a device and Quint laughed. “What are you scared about?”

“I might get bruised and get all limpy!” James sobbed and eventually got out of his wreck.

“You’re such a drama queen, James” Quint laughed. “The field is harmless to us. Monchitas don’t go out on mornings. Know your knowledge, Philip”

He pointed out to the horizon where the brightest star could be seen in the morning purple skies. “You see that?”

“I sure can” Philip said while James didn’t say anything.

“Once we go near that star, there’s a way we can get to the place called Hidden Planet”

“Where did you get that nonsense? Father says that the Hidden Planet isn’t true. He’s never been there at all” Philip tucked his device inside his belt.

“Well, it doesn’t mean that if you can’t go to it or if you haven’t seen it or haven’t been there, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist” Quint said smiling again.

James sniffled and tried to act more independent for a little while. “Whatever that Hidden Planet is, we sure can’t go there”

“Why not?” Quint turned to him.

“Hidden Planet is a planet, obviously. We don’t have any travel or money that’ll approve our flight there even if we see it with our own bare eyes”

     Quint laughed. “Well alright”

He looked at his friends and then his trusty sidekick, Masuki. It was a long while that they haven’t done this activity, with all the schoolwork and projects. But everything was ready and set and it was a good day to being it with.

“We don’t want the stars to go out and we surely don’t want to miss the day” Quint said, stepping on the field and away towards forest. Then he yelled, “Let’s go hunting!”

     -

“James!” Philip yelled to James who was terrified of crossing a mud puddle the length of a narrow river infront of him. “Just walk on it!”

“Do you know how much these shoes cost? I had to beg on my knees for my dad to buy me these from Jirni” James said, slowly trying to step on a rock hoping it won’t sink down.

“It’s not like you’ll die, James” Philip said.

“Yeah” Quint said who was taking a handful of mud soil in his hands. “Mud is harmless. We’ll wash off in the Spinkle Falls”

One moment James was spick and span until Quint threw the mud pile at him.

“Quint!” James shouted. “My Jirni shoes!”

      Philip and Quint laughed.

“Is James mad?” Quint taunted. “Too bad you can’t go over to our side. Right, Masuki?”

      Masuki barked with no hesitation.

James was furious and couldn’t handle but to get over this puddle to go after them.

“I’ll get you for this!” James shouted and ran to them.

“Haha!” Quint laughed and went inside the tall grass while Philip was trampled by James who smacked his face with mud.

With all the noise they’ve made, the earth shook beneath them and James stopped his fun and Philip spit out the soil that got into his mouth.

They waited for the quake to stop but it didn’t. The soil turned wet and the two bestfriends felt like they were sinking into it. But one thing crossed their minds:

      Where was Quint?
