Jungkook 's phone started to ring as he was driving back home from a construction site which falls at the other corner of the city. He had to go there for some work and now he was driving on the lonely road
"jeena" it said
He sighed.
"hi" he said picking up the phone
"how are you doing kook" his sister asked
"i am fine, how are you?" he asked
"i am good too, umm kook can we meet" she asked her voice sounded a bit low. Jungkook was concerned......... even though he didn't talk much to her he really loved her alot
"sure where do you want to meet?" he asked
"in that coffee shop beside your house" she said still in a very low voice
"ok i will see you tomorrow" with that she hung up the phone
Jungkook was all lost in his thoughts when he noticed someone struggling with his bike
He looked a bit closely
"taehyung" he frowned. Immediately he stopped the car and met him there
Taehyung was still struggling with the bike
"taehyung??" taehyung looked up at him
"hey there neighbour" he said
"what are you doing here?" he asked
"uh i came here to drop namjoon hyung he had an audition but now this bike" he said still trying to figure out the bike
"what it is not working" jungkook asked
"no no it is working I am just playing with it the game is called" bike doesn't work "and taehyung gave a sarcastic smile
Jungkook exhaled" you do know right that it is annoying " he raised his eyebrows keeping the annoyed expression visible on his face
Taehyung giggled" ok fine i will stop it"
"come i will drop you, you can ask the mechanic to drop your bike home" jungkook said
Taehyung was a bit taken aback by his words but then he collected himself and said "no i will WALK home"
Jungkook realised he was imitating his yesterday's behaviour and frowned with his hands on his waist
"sorry sorry lets go" he chuckled and got in the car
They both were silent with one looking at the other every now and then
"jungkook what's it like to be a detective?" asked taehyung breaking the awkward silence
"not bad" said jungkook
"not at all a talker" thought taehyung, then suddenly something came to his mind.
"how close are you and yoongi" asked taehyung
Jungkook frowned and looked at him
"just asking" shrugged taehyung
"we have been friends for the last 7 years" he said still looking at the road
"thats nice" he nodded. There was something going on in his mind but he actually didn't know how to put it in words or if he should tell jungkook. What if Jimin gets mad at him for telling Jungkook, who is actually another boss of his.
Taehyung started to bite his nails, something he always does when he is thinking.
Jungkook looks at him from the corner of his eyes.
