"I heard you went to California after you left me." Nilingon ni Miracle ang asawa nang magsalita ito sa tabi niya.
She smiled sweetly before nodding her head. "My parents are there."
"Your real parents?"
Hindi na siya nagulat pa nang tanungin 'yon ng lalaki. Alam naman nito yata lahat tungkol sa kaniya, hindi na siya dapat magtaka kung pati ang totoong pagkatao niya ay kilala nito.
"It feels good to hear that you met them already. Olivia and Benedict are both ass holes, I hope they rot in jail," bakas ang galit sa boses ni Trigger nang sabihin nito 'yon.
Tinapik niya ang likod ng asawa. "Thank you for sending them there. Hindi ko na kailangang magpakahirap para lang ilagay sila roon."
He looked at her. "You have many questions to ask me, my wife. I can feel it. Go on, I'll answer everything."
Matamis niya itong nginitian. Good thing that he opened up about that topic, muntik niya nang makalimutan.
"I heard from Saellyn and Dagger that you undergo rehabilitation. Why? What happened?"
Trigger cleared his throat. "Things got messed up when you were gone. I lost my sanity, and I ended up being in a rehab for a year."
Malungkot niya itong niyakap.
"Ayos ka lang ba? Anong nangyari sa 'yo roon?"
He slightly chuckled. "I wasn't tortured there, baby. We own that rehabilitation. I recovered with the help of my brothers so stop worrying about it."
Humugot siya ng buntong hininga at sinamaan ito ng tingin. "Ikaw kasi eh, dapat noong nahalata mo pa lang na nagpapanggap lang akong may amnesia sinabi mo na agad sa akin ang totoo. Hindi na sana kita masasaktan nang ganito."
"I wanted to tell you the whole thing but something's stopping me to do so. Hindi kita kasama sa nakaraang limang taon kaya hindi ko alam kung ayos ka lang. I was too worried that I might trigger your disorder again once I tell you the truth. I don't want to shock you since you just came back. I'm sorry for not letting you know, baby," malambing nitong paliwanag.
Miracle nodded her head. "You don't have to say sorry. Naiintindihan ko naman ang rason mo. Kahit ako rin naman magugulat dahil hindi ko alam na may sakit pala akong gano'n."
"I still have this feeling that I need to say sorry to you for multiple times. I promised to protect you when we were younger but I failed doing that." He held her hand before kissing it gently. "Sorry for hating you, sorry because I was fucking dumb to believe Benedict and Olivia."
She felt her tears flowing down on her cheeks. Mabilis niyang pinunasan ang mga 'yon at niyakap ang asawa. "Wala kang kasalanan, Trigger. Those two were evils and they ruined us. Hindi ikaw ang dapat humingi ng tawad sa akin. Hmm?"
"But I failed protecting our baby, my wife. I failed protecting the both of you. Kung hindi ako nagtanga-tangahan noon baka hanggang ngayon may anak na tayo. Sorry for being irresponsible," umiiyak na saad nito.
Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ni Miracle nang marinig ang sinabi nito. He still doesn't know about Alistair's existence. Hanggang ngayon ay sinisisi pa rin nito ang sarili sa pagkawala ng anak na hindi naman kailan nangyari.
She felt guilty suddenly. She hid Alistair from him and it made him suffer.
"Trigger, I have to say something."
He looked at her. "Hmm?"
"He didn't die."
"Who?" walang kaide-ideyang tanong nito.
"Our baby, he didn't die. He's alive, and I named him Alistair."
Ilang minutong hindi umimik ang lalaki sa sinabi niya. Mas lalo lang siyang kinabahan sa reaksyon nito.
He didn't utter any word, he's just looking at her with confusion all over his face.
"I don't g-get it, baby. You said back then that he was killed--"
"Dr. Haley lied about that matter, to keep me and to keep our baby safe. But our son is alive, I hid him from you because of anger. And I'm sorry for doing that, Trigger. Tatanggapin ko kung magagalit ka sa akin, you can hurt me if you want, ayos lang. Kasalanan ko naman, eh. Ang tanga-tanga ko para itago sa 'yo ang anak natin," umiiyak niyang saad.
Trigger still can't believe about what he heard. Niyakap lang siya nito nang marahan at hinaplos ang buhok niya.
"It's okay. Can I meet him? Does he look like me?" puno ng galak ang boses na tanong nito.
Natatawa siyang tumango. "Nagtatampo nga ako kasi parang sa 'yo niya nakuha ang lahat. Pati pagiging englishero mo kinuha na ng anak natin."
Happiness is evident in his eyes and she's glad to see it.
"I want to meet him, baby. Please? I'll be a good father to Alistair, I swear. I'll give him everything he wants. Babawi ako sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko sa kaniya," nangangakong saad nito.
She nodded her head. "I already texted Dagger to send Alistair here. And you don't have to do that, hubby. Mahal na mahal ka ng anak mo kaya hindi ka niya kagagalitan 'no. Meeting you is enough for him."
His smile widened as he kiss her lips. "Thank you for letting me know about his existence, baby."
"You deserve to know that."
"Would you allow me to feel bad now?"
Nilingon niya ang lalaki. "What?"
"For the past five years, I was busy blaming myself for what happened. I felt incomplete and wrecked. Gusto kong masaktan pero pakiramdam ko wala akong karapatan na maramdaman 'yon. But now, after knowing everything I need to know. Would you allow me to feel broken and bad?"
She stared at him unbelievably. Nagpapaalam ito sa kaniya bago masaktan? Was he really traumatized that much?
Nang tumango siya ay 'saka lamang tuluyang umiyak ang lalaki sa balikat niya. He sounds so hurt. Pakiramdam ni Miracle ay ngayon lang talaga nilabas ng lalaki ang lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman nito sa nagdaang limang taon.
She felt guilty and broken upon hearing his cry.
"Do you want me to make you feel better?" she asked out of nowhere.
Bahagyang natahimik ang lalaki. "Having you by my side is enough, baby."
"Mas matutuwa ka sa sasabihin ko," natatawa niyang saad.
He pouted before looking at her. "Hmm?"
"I'm pregnant, Trigger."
His eyes widened in surprised with what she said. Buong pag-iingat na hinaplos nito ang tiyan niya.
"Really? For how long?"
"Weeks pa lang. I think it happened when we made love before I left you. Sharp shooter ka yata, eh. Magiging kuya na tuloy si Alistair." She giggled after saying that.
Marahan siyang hinalikan ng asawa sa pisngi. "Thank you, baby."
"Oo, dapat ka talagang mag-thank you. Hindi maganda ang kutob ko sa laman ng tiyan ko. Pakiramdam ko hindi lang isa 'to."
"Twins?" he excitedly asked.
"Baka triplets pa nga, eh," she added.
He chuckled. "More babies with you."
Tumango siya. "Susuntukin kita kapag umiyak ako sa panganganak."
He held her hand before kissing it gently. "Do everything you want, baby. Thank you so much for making me happy. Mahal na mahal kita, tangina."
Natawa siya. "Mahal na mahal din kita."
